I am so disappointed in this phone. It is beautiful. And easy to use...but it runs hot. Too warm to put and keep on your ear. Super hot when charging. If it stays hot it loses a charge in 1 to 2 hours.....if its cool its great but the screen does not shut off after 30 seconds. I on my 2nd phone in 18 days. An trading it in today ...Am so disappointed to have to get an I phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, too hot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missed It

Samsung missed it, to me, with the S6. I purchased it to replace my S4 work phone. The more I use my S5 the more I'm disappointed with the S6 and should have opted to buy another S5 Yes, I have multiple S line phones. The UI is just horrible. Battery life is terrible. Lollipop, to say the least, should have been called "soured grapes". While I am a little impressed with the design of the phone, I am not impressed with it, overall. Android KitKat on the S5 is such a better platform. Can't scroll through call logs, while on the S6, like you can with previous Galaxy S phones Had it been equipped with 3GBs of RAM, I probably would not have bought the S6. Sure, the resolution is sharper than previous models. However, with every application you're met with a blinding white background display mixed with what looks like a child's water color painting, for icons. It is NOT stylish and it is NOT cool. And although I'm not happy about the lack of being able to remove battery and NO micro SD slot, really a bad move, the thing that set Samsung apart from its biggest competitor, is creature comforts. Those little things that us Samsung fans love. Here's a thought, combine the hardware of the Note 4, the size of the S5 and the capability of the Captivate Glide, you would have a beast of a phone!
Pros: Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wish it had the water resistant feature along with the SD card slot and a faster charging speed that is the only negative to this phone other than that I love it
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, child mode(being a mom this is a huge save for me), not to big not to small, speaker is loud, love the theme options
Cons: no sd card slot, back doesn't open, has a glass back, not water resistant, charges super slow
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Phone

I have owned many Samsung phone and they are the best. But i must say that this is the worst phone that Samsung has put out., it locks up on a regular basis. It changes settings on its own. The batter life is not on par with any other phone that Samsung makes. it does not even last the day before it has to be charged. You can not access the internet while on a phone call, like you can with most other Samsung phones. Yes you can if you turn on HD Calling but then it only works if you are in a 4G LTE area. I drops WiFi connections on a regular basis. It has one of the worst signal receivers. You also don't have the option of an SD Card. They took away the ability to remove the battery. If I had the option I would not buy this phone again, it is not worth the money. I will be switching to a Note 4 as soon as I can.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

changing from S3 to S6

The S6 offers a lot of features that I did not have before with the S3 but in design, such as the calculator, settings and menu button, I really liked the S3. I find the left button underused in that, as far as i can figure out, it only has the function of closing apps. When wanting to change settings as I previously did with the S3, it is more complicated than use the left button to access setting options on whatever app i was on. I now have to "purchase" other design/skin options if I want something with more contrast such as the phone interface or the calculator.
Also wish the battery was still accessible, i don't need samsung to mimic any iphone, the separate battery and additional memory that distinguised previous S models was a big plus for me and a reason to chose a galaxy over iphone when getting the first smart phone, the S3, please bring that back. I have a lot of problems managing apps that were supposed to get transferred automatically, and apparently they are installed, just can't find them under apps! No idea where they are. Administering the phone has gotten weird without the buttons the way they were on the S3.
The display is amazing, the size great, love the mophie extended battery as protection device too. I hope i get used to it, just miss my S3 a lot.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, good call quality
Cons: left button setting function missing, short screen time when pressing menu
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Phone Yet

I wavered between the Edge, Note and S. The Note was just too big for me but a great device. I couldn't justify the cost for a stylus. The Edge was beautiful but I use a lifeproof case that isn't supportive of the Edge so I would loose the extra screen. I had a 5 and it was great until the latest software update and started to hemorrhage power and I rapidly ran out of memory. I have had no problems at all with my 6. It has plenty of memory, the battery can last a day and a half and the resolution and camera are superb!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: a bit expensive, volume could be better
I would recommend this to a friend!
