[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra for 2 weeks now and I upgraded from my old phone S23 Samsung Galaxy 23, I like the privacy part of the phone, this way no one can see what I'm doing in public. I have used the Gemini AI on the phone, only major complaint I have it freezes within a short time, it freezes same day or within 3 days, that's a big downfall of using Gemini. So I use it less for that reason. Using the phone in general I really can't complain, I haven't had no major issues with it.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (for Galaxy) is a beast.
Efficiency: While the battery capacity is still 5,000mAh, the 3nm processor architecture and improved LTPO display tech mean you're getting roughly 15-20% better battery life in real-world usage.
Charging: Samsung finally bumped the wired charging speeds to 60W, allowing you to hit a 50% charge in about 15-20 minutes.
Efficiency: While the battery capacity is still 5,000mAh, the 3nm processor architecture and improved LTPO display tech mean you're getting roughly 15-20% better battery life in real-world usage.

If you are coming from an S24 Ultra or older, the S26 Ultra is a massive leap. The combination of the Privacy Display, the thinner design, and the low-light camera improvements makes it the most refined smartphone Samsung has ever produced. It’s expensive, but for the "Ultra" enthusiast, it justifies the price.
