The powerhouse phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is a powerhouse flagship with a standout privacy-focused display, big AI push, excellent performance, and a very capable camera system, but it’s an iterative upgrade that mainly shines if you care about AI features, security, and the new screen tech. Design and displaySamsung keeps the familiar boxy Ultra look, but slims it down to around 7.9 mm and 214 g, with slightly softer corners that make the phone more comfortable to hold than last year’s model. You get a huge 6.9‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at QHD resolution and 120 Hz, which looks every bit as sharp, bright, and fluid as you’d expect from Samsung’s top-tier screen tech. The headline feature is the new Privacy Display: it uses a special AMOLED layer to dramatically reduce viewing angles so people next to you see far less of what’s on your screen. In practice, that makes the S26 Ultra feel tailor‑made for commuting, banking apps, and work email, though colors can subtlety shift at extreme angles.Performance, battery, and chargingInside, the Galaxy S26 Ultra runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “for Galaxy” in all regions, with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and storage up to 1 TB. Day‑to‑day performance is extremely fast: apps open instantly, multitasking is smooth, and demanding games run at high frame rates, helped by an upgraded NPU and GPU tuned for on‑device AI and gaming.Battery capacity remains 5,000 mAh, but efficiency improvements and software tuning.

Call me Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been very impressed with the Galaxy S26 Ultra so far. The display is incredibly sharp and bright, making everything from videos to everyday apps look amazing. The camera system is also outstanding and captures very detailed photos in both bright and low-light conditions. Performance feels extremely fast and smooth even when multitasking or using demanding apps.
One feature that really stands out is Galaxy AI. The AI tools are genuinely useful and make everyday tasks easier, from improving photos to helping with productivity features. The battery life has also been excellent and easily lasts through a full day of use, which I am absolutely in love with, its honestly fantastic. Overall, the Galaxy S26 Ultra feels like a premium device with powerful hardware and smart features that enhance the experience.

A worthwhile upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrade from S24 ultra to S26 ultra. I was surprised to see no difference in viewing angles with privacy screen off. It is fascinating to see how well it works when turned on.
Excited to use Galaxy AI features. People say S Pen is a gimmick, I use it quite often (yes, I'm bummed about loosing Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen). I expect the same with the Galaxy AI features too.

New and Improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new design of the S26 Ultra's is sleek and slim. It feels super smooth compared to my old S24 Ultra and it's pretty convenient. The Galaxy AI features are interesting but not necessarily something that I will use that often. The new motion lock on the cameras is pretty crazy and good for taking videos!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung S26 Ultra and I’m really impressed. The camera quality is amazing, especially for night photos, and the display is very bright and smooth. The battery easily lasts a full day, even with heavy use. The phone feels very premium and fast when running apps or games. Overall, it’s one of the best smartphones I’ve used and definitely worth it if you want a powerful Android phone.

Significant Improvements from Past Gen
on March 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the new S26 Ultra. So far I am loving it. First thing I loved about this phone is how lighter it feels compared to previous generation. The sleek design is great too. Interfaces are faster and smoother. But it doesn't look whole lot different from previous generations. Now the most obvious upgrades are full Galaxy AI. It's everywhere haha. Calls, messages, in-app, etc... It allows for us to access so much info quicker, improved security especially the phone screening, and fun photo edits. I still have to explore further more to understand all the features. Privacy screen is amazing and I love it. Battery life....well that could be improved.

Amazing innovation and a step forward

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new shape and innovation with built in privacy screen and also the 65W Super Fast Charging! The only caveats being the S-pen which only goes in one way (by the way love the fact that the pen now matches the phone color) and privacy screen really effects the screen quality.
