Heavier than s25 ultra
on March 10, 2026
Posted by: hobohobo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hoped to get a little lighter phone than previous s25 ultra but nay, this s26u is little heavier. Another small grief is the protruding camera lenses which even inside a protective case make it impossible to lay flat on an even surface.
On the positive side, setup and configuration was easy with a usb-c cable between the two phones and almost all apps were moved over to new phone. Galaxy AI works as well as in the previous s25 ultra.

Response from Samsung USBy R&R Team, March 10, 2026
Hello Hobohobo, thank you for sharing your thoughts about your Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with us. We know upgrading to a new device can cause frustration as you adjust to the design changes and enhanced features of your device. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra weighed 218 grams while the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra does weigh slightly less at 214 grams. We have provided a link to the Samsung Support Team to assist you with different accessory options that may better align to your preference for the ability to have the device lay flat on a surface. We appreciate you being a Samsung customer. -Elizabeth Samsung Support smsng.us/Samsung-Support Samsung Community smsng.us/Samsung-Community Facebook smsng.us/Facebook-Messenger X https://smsng.us/X-Messages

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from my s24 Ultra and I am very pleased with my decision. The upgraded Galaxy AI does wonders for me! I am super happy with my decision on upgrading my device. It is lighter and easier to hold compared to my s24 Ultra. Highly recommend upgrading if you haven't yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2026 has not disappointed with the release of a brand new phone by Samsung. The s26 ultra is their new flagship flagship phone and does not disappoint. With innovation, from the new privacy screens to the new updated iteration of Galaxy AI this phone does not disappoint. I look forward to spending more time with this in the coming year

From the moment I opened the box it felt GREAT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone feels premium from the moment you take it out the box, is light but firm, the screen is massive and the AI features and absolutely mindblowing.
To me GalaxyAI has allow me to record meeting and work on transcribing them in multiple languages (I work in spanish English and portuguese) and multi tasking is always present is my everyday life.
I'm also obsessed with mobile photography and this camera REALLY delivers, especially the wide angle upgrade with the 50MP.
If you are still on the fence about getting it, trust me, this phone is a must have. The spam protection for calls as someone who lives in the US has also been God-given so I'm really happy with my purchase and overall will give a 9.7/10. (We still need Bluetooth in the s pen!!)

Nice upgraded phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded from S24plus. Ultra has nice features, especially Galaxy AI. Settings are very customizable to owner. For someone who didn't care for AI, I was impressed by the options. I particularly liked the AI call settings and language associations, such as the interpreter application. It helps me when I'm trying to converse/speak with other people who don't speak English as a primary language. I spent some time in settings, but it was worth it to personalize my phone. I really like the privacy element to display. I don't have to purchase a privacy screen protector for this anymore. It allows you to select which apps to make displays private, instead of all the time. Another nice feature is the battery charging. It can be set to a lower percentage and stops charging to preserve the battery life. Everything seems to be an improvement and more convenient. Graphics are nice and vivid, with a wider screen from a plus phone, so some gaming is great on it. It's not a perfect phone, but with some new and improved features, especially the Galaxy AI element, it is a pretty awesome phone. If you have an older Samsung phone from years ago, it's probably time for you to upgrade.

10/10 device
on March 10, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let's start with the built in privacy screen. Absolutely phenomenal. Honestly the main reason for this purchase. I am upgrading from an S23 Ultra to this S26 Ultra and I love it. My ONLY complaint is the pen. I miss using the button on the S pen to take pictures. That's about it. The battery life lasts the entire day. It is very user friendly and customizable. They did an outstanding job

Amazing as always

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I'm really enjoying this device, going from an S24 Ultra. It is extremely smooth, and I expect to get many years of service. The AI services seem to be extremely efficient and well-thought-out. My next purchase will be a set of new buds, which are needed badly.
