Beautiful design, powerful everyday upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several Samsung phones, including the S23 Ultra, Flip6, and S25 Edge, so I was excited to see how the Galaxy S26 Ultra would compare. After using it, I can honestly say this feels like one of the most complete Samsung devices I have had.
The Cobalt Purple color is beautiful and gives the phone a premium, polished look that feels unique without being too bold. It stands out in a sophisticated way and makes the phone feel even more special.
One of my favorite features is Galaxy AI. It makes the phone feel smarter, more intuitive, and more useful in everyday life. I use my phone for work, school, streaming, photos, and staying organized, so having features that make tasks easier and faster really stands out. I also love the built-in privacy screen option because it adds extra confidence when I am using my phone in public or around other people.
The overall experience feels smooth and refined. The display is bright and immersive, multitasking is effortless, and the camera takes sharp, vibrant photos. What I appreciate most is that the new features feel practical, not just impressive on paper. Samsung did a great job combining style, performance, and innovation into one device.

The privacy setting is definitely helpful at work so they can't see what I'm doing on my phone if I'm not working 😅

The 200MP main sensor with a wider F1.4 aperture takes unbelievably bright, detailed shots even in low light, and the 5x and 10x zoom is crystal clear. I love the new Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock — it keeps everything perfectly level even if I'm walking up stairs or turning around. Plus, Galaxy AI features like Photo Assist let me fix or enhance pics with simple voice commands. Selfies look natural, and Nightography video is ridiculously good.
Performance-wise, the customized Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor flies through everything — gaming, multitasking, AI tasks — and stays cool thanks to the bigger vapor chamber. Battery life is excellent with the 5000mAh cell, easily lasting a full day of heavy use, and it charges super fast.
It's also noticeably slimmer and lighter than previous Ultras, feels amazing in the hand with those rounded corners, and of course it still has the built-in S Pen for quick notes and doodles.
Honestly, the S26 Ultra has made me fall in love with my phone all over again. If you're thinking about upgrading, do it — you won't regret it!

Love the privacy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the privacy display option offered on the Galaxy S26 Ultra!!!! I have a co worker who is constantly looking over my shoulder. I got my phone today, activated it on my lunch hour. When I went back, I got on to test and sure enough she could not see a thing. She even huff and puffed about it. It was easy to transfer everything from my Galaxy s24 Ultra to my new phone. I'm new to the Galaxy AI stuff, so I like that there is a lot of help and explanations for me to use.
