[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a Galaxy guy since the S9. The S26 Ultra is a decent upgrade over my previous phone, the S23 Ultra. From the screen to the Galaxy AI. Everything seems to be an upgrade.
Streaming on it is flawless. I'm impressed with the camera for taking photos and videos, recently went to a circus and the omages were great. Love the audio eraser feature in the gallery. The new AI, Perplexity is interesting.
It's like Samsung pack in tons of surprises hidden throughout their devices.

Living in NYC, two features have completely changed the game for me: the Privacy Display and the evolution of Galaxy AI. Forget stick-on protectors. Samsung integrated privacy directly into the pixels. I have mine set to trigger automatically for banking and messaging. It’s perfect for the subway or crowded cafes, providing peace of mind without sacrificing that stunning Quad HD+ clarity. When I’m with my partner and we want to watch a video together, I just toggle it off. It’s truly the best of both worlds. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the AI has moved from "cool tricks" to "essential tools." Now Nudge: Subtly suggests actions based on your screen—like tracking a flight or summarizing long articles. AI Call Screening: This is my ultimate spam-fighter. It answers unknown calls, transcribes them in real-time, and lets me "reply" via text-to-speech.The S26 Ultra feels like it finally understands its environment. It balances raw performance with a refined, purpose-driven design that feels premium and durable. The 6.9-inch display is stunning, featuring the new "Privacy Display" technology that is a game-changer for secure mobile work. Galaxy AI is the star here. It’s no longer just a collection of tools; it’s an intuitive system that reduces "mental load." Features like Now Nudge and the upgraded Photo Assist make complex tasks—like removing distractions from photos or organizing schedules—feel effortless. I only wish Now Nudge worked with other keyboards besides just the Samsung keyboard. The camera system remains world-class. With the 200MP main sensor’s wider f/1.4 aperture, low-light performance is significantly improved. The S Pen continues to be my indispensable tool for precision, especially when used with AI Select to extract data or edit on the fly. Coupled with the clean, responsive One UI 8.5, the user experience is fluid and remarkably efficient. If you want the best, this is it.
