Love that i can onboard with WIFI now! Made transfering my old Bridge over to the Pro so much easier. Solid product; no issues so far (been using for over 9 months with about 45 devices)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for the review! It's great to hear the Wi-Fi onboarding made the switch to Bridge Pro so much easier. With around 45 devices connected, that's no small setup, so we're especially happy to know it's been running smoothly and reliably for you ever since.
It is definitely an upgrade to the older model. I liked the migration option as well.

Glad to hear the Bridge Pro is living up to expectations! It's especially nice to know the migration feature helped make the switch from your previous Bridge hassle-free. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.
Great product! As I stated on other reviews, I am a certified installer for Lutron Ketra, and chose this and the Hue package for my home. Between price point and quality I am exceptionally pleased with what Philip Hue provides. Just take your time. Watch youtube if need be, take in all the features and implement them. Awesome product!!

This was fantastic to read. Knowing that someone familiar with advanced lighting solutions selected Hue for their personal setup means a lot to us. We're delighted you're enjoying the experience and discovering all the possibilities the system has to offer.
Wow this is the most poorly engineered product I have ever purchased. My degree is in electrical engineering and I can not get this thing to function. It connects to my network and is recognized by the app but refuses to turn on the ZigBee radio. I therefore can not add any lights or switches. I have tried WiFi, wired ethernet, connecting directly to my ISPs router, and everything else I could think of or find on the internet, including performing a factory reset multiple times and even purchasing another Bridge Pro in case the first one was defective. You have been warned.

We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced with your Bridge Pro. Based on your description, it's possible that your lights and switches were previously paired to another Bridge and may need to go through the migration process before they can be used with the new one. Another possibility is that the devices are not currently in pairing mode, which can prevent them from being discovered. Unfortunate that the “Pro version” isn’t PoE. Very easy to migrate my current system, and the motion feature works great. But overall the response time is MUCH slower than the old version with Alexa commands. By the tune of 8-9 seconds slower.

We're sorry to hear your experience with the Bridge Pro has been a mixed one. It's great to know the migration process went smoothly and that you're enjoying the motion sensing features, but we completely understand how disappointing it is to notice slower response times afterward. When simple voice commands take several seconds longer than expected, it can have a real impact on the overall experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share these details, and we'd encourage you to contact our support team through the following link: https://www.philips-hue.com/en-us/support/faq#contact, for further assistance.
This bridge was supposed to solve some of the problems of its predecessor, and in that narrow sense, I suppose it has succeeded. Unfortunately, its strikingly poor reliability creates a much bigger problem: it significantly diminishes the value of the Hue ecosystem as a whole.
The real cost of that unreliability isn't simply downtime or the number of dropped connections, it's what happens afterward. When the bridge reconnects, it frequently fails to restore its integrations cleanly, forcing you to completely remove and re-add it and all of the underlying devices tied to the bridge to whatever smart-home platform you're using to integrate Hue with the rest of your system.
The larger your Hue installation, the worse this becomes. More lights mean more work every time the bridge fails, until eventually the easiest solution is to throw the bridge and all the bulbs tied to it in the garbage.

We're genuinely sorry to hear this. What comes through in your review is not just the frustration of losing a connection, but the amount of time and effort you've had to put into getting everything working again afterward. We can understand why that would be particularly disappointing when you've invested in a larger Hue setup and expect it to work reliably in the background. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Please reach out to our support team through the following link: https://www.philips-hue.com/en-us/support/faq#contact. We'd be happy to work with you and help find a solution.
I gave it one star because it only half works had no problem out of my old one but this one the motion doesn’t work and the security features don’t either.
