The instructions were misprinted

I have been playing Lego sets for more than a decade and I started to get disappointed at the quality controls of Lego sets. Specifically for this one, my instructions were misprinted. It skipped bag 5 and after page 102, it randomly added around 32 pages and then started again with bag 6. When I was chatting, it kept rerouting me to missing pieces replacement but there was no option to replace the instructions. Maybe some of you would say, just download it online to work through bag 5. Yeah I can totally do that. But building Lego is a way for me to get away from screens, and I really don’t want that detouring. Anyways….. I am still a fan but please Lego, do some QAs
I would recommend this to a friend!

We appreciate you letting us know about the instruction errors for the Road Bike. Feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service so we can get more details to share with our quality and design teams.
The LEGO Road Bike is a masterclass in Technic engineering, bridging the gap between cycling enthusiasts and brick builders. As a high- performance replica of modern carbon-fiber racing machines, it captures the essence of the "King of the Mountains" with incredible precision.
This set exceeded my expectations. It’s innovative, accurate enough to impress real cyclists, and a joy to build and display. If you love bikes or unique LEGO vehicles, this is a must-have. Highly recommended—LEGO knocked it out of the park with their first big bicycle! This set exceeded my expectations. I was one of the people who put in a pre-order for this product because I love to ride. I found the build to be quite boring. It was so simple, yet was indicated that it was for a 18+ builder. This is the first LEGO set I can actually say I am disappointed in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, we're sorry that this set didn't quite meet your expectations. For clarity, the set it recommended 18+ as it is intended to be a display set for the most part, which some of our younger builders may not appreciate or anticipate. We really appreciate you leaving us your thoughts, we'll pass them along to our design team to help with future sets!
Amazing Kit! Looks great... I am a bike rider & this will look great in my office. Done in a couple hours. Manual was easy to follow - a couple assembly directions could use additional color clarification.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're glad to hear you enjoyed this Road Bike build and get to display your hobby! If any steps look unclear in the instruction booklet, give the LEGO® Builder app a try at LEGO.build/BuilderApp-BV. It guides you with 3D instructions that let you zoom, rotate and even track your progress. The app helps any build coast to the finish line!
As a dedicated Lego hobbyist, I was thrilled to see the new 18+ bicycle build available for purchase. Opportunities like this, especially at a reasonable price, are rare, and I eagerly anticipated adding it to my collection. However, when I received the set, I was dismayed to find only eight packets of parts, and they felt rather skimpy. The initial stages of the build were enjoyable—the size of the wheels looked promising, and assembling the spokes was an engaging challenge. Constructing the frame was also fun and provided a satisfying experience. Unfortunately, when it came to the seat and handlebars, I was shocked by how disappointing they were. Their tiny, unproportional size in comparison to the rest of the bike felt like a missed opportunity. It’s as if crucial elements had been overlooked, leaving me with half a bike rather than a complete model. In my opinion, it is unfair to market this build as complete when it lacks the necessary proportions and detail. For the price point, I expected more. Overall, this experience has left me quite disappointed. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts.
There’s not a lot to say about this build except it was super fun with just enough challenge to make it interesting…..basically a perfect build. Building the rims, a first for Lego, was super cool as was the gears and the pedals. In fact the set features a brand new single way spur gear which allows the bike to freewheel. The spur gear that the pedals attach to is the biggest Lego gear, made specifically for this set. But for me, the best part of this set is the chain mechanism which spins the rear wheel. Just a totally enjoyable build.
The final build looks amazing! In fact, I was surprised to see how big it was, pleasantly surprised. I love that you can take the bike off the display stand. It’s very solid and sturdy and can be moved around easily. The chain moves the back wheel, the handlebars move the front wheel and the water bottle is removable. This is an awesome build and one that will be displayed proudly in my collection.
On to the next one……Happy Building!
