[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of the most exciting sets for my kids because you get both Charizard and Jolteon in the same set. The best part was playing out different battles once it was finished. Charizard looks really cool with the wings and all the little details make the set feel special for Pokémon fans. I also appreciate that it’s not one of those builds that gets finished and forgotten about because they’ve actually continued playing with them. So fun and definitely another favorite in our house!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego Pokémon Smart play Charizard vs Jolteon ultimate battle set is seriously so cool! My kids absolutely loved it, and they really got a kick out of the fact that the Pokémon actually react to how you move and play with them. The lights, sounds, battle reactions, training features, and even being able to "heal" your Pokémon, make this feel so much more than a regular Lego set. It really brings Charizard and Jolteon to life and gives the kids something to do with their creation after the building is finished. I was also really impressed with how beginner friendly this set is. My 7, almost 8-year-old son worked on it and I let him do pretty much all of the actual building himself. The instructions were easy enough for him to follow and he was incredibly proud watching everything come together. There were definitely a few times where a little adult help was useful, especially when getting everything set up and working with the smart play features, but the actual building was absolutely manageable for him. I also love that this isn't one of those Lego set that gets built and then immediately goes on the shelf. Once Charizard and Jolteon are finished, another whole part of the fun starts. The smart bricks respond to movement and interact with the smart tags, so the kids can train their Pokémon, battle them, and keep playing in completely different ways. My kids thought the sounds and reactions were awesome! Charizard and Jolteon both look fantastic when they're finished. There is so much detail, and they are substantial enough that they would look great displayed when the kids aren't playing with them. Overall, this was such a fun experience for both my son and I. It gave him the satisfaction of completing a pretty impressive Lego build, mostly on his own, while the interactive, smart play features kept the excitement going afterward. If your kids love Lego and Pokémon, this is definitely a set I would recommend. Such a creative idea and easily one of the coolest Lego sets we've built!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is an awesome evolution of the Lego line, creating a much more engaging play experience for kids after the Legos are built. The smart bricks are easy to use and really bring the pokemon to life. It's like magic! Would definitely recommend for kids who are into Pokemon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set had lots to build the what the cost is ! My son loved all the animation noises and perfect to be hand held as well in sizing. The kit overall was very sturdy.
I’m writing this more as a review on the entire first wave of Pokemon Smart Play sets now that I have them all, more so then just this one set specifically. To start, as a nearly 40-year old, I was in the first generation of people to be captured by Pokemania, have a full living dex, and have played every generation of the games from Game Boy to Switch 2. I love Pokemon, and have loved Pokemon for decades. I enjoy these sets because I love the buildable Pokemon figures, similar to the previous Super Mario buildable figures. These Pokemon are solid enough to play with, and I’d much rather have them in this size than the 18+ display sized ones Lego makes. So sets like the Paldean Starters where you get 3 Pokemon builds are better than say the Squirtle set that is one Pokemon and a car. The more Pokemon figures in the set the better, because the Pokemon figures is why I want the sets in the first place. The only real downside to these sets is the Smart Brick. Honestly, I don’t see the value in it. The Smart Brick allows the Pokemon to make noises, walk, sleep, and battle, and Smart Tiles give other functionality, but every function the Smart Brick does a child could do better with their own imagination. So if you gave me these exact same Pokemon figures without the Smart Brick integration I would like them more because the sets would hopefully be cheaper for consumers. But all-in-all I look forward to more of these Pokemon playsets from Lego.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I loved how this one was packaged. It was so nicely organized inside the box. The eco friendly bags instead of plastic for the pieces is awesome! I also loved that these actually came with the smart bricks. It really sucks that you have to get a specific set just for the bricks. They should either come in all builds or be sold separately or even both would be nice! I do love how Lego builds have such great books for instructions. The steps are so easy to follow and very clear. Once we played with the bricks, it was so fun and cool to hear the music, battle sounds and sounds from the characters. Awesome how it knows which specific character it is attached to! Definitely recommend every pokemon and Lego fan to give these a go! A must buy and try!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer: I have received the Lego Pokemon SMART Play Charizard vs Jolteon Ultimate Battle set absolutely free in exchange for my honest review.
Oh my! This set is amazing! No wonder the price tag is as big as the box. This set is top quality for sure. My daughter was thrilled this has arrived right on her birthday and we spent a good hour putting this set together. She is 8 years old and had no problem with putting Jolteon her all time fave pokemon together. The instructions were super clear. No missing parts and everything put in labeled bags for easy set up. My husband is doing all the tech on these tonight and we are going to play our hearts out. Thank you Influenster and thank you Lego for gifting us these! So happy with the quality and the size of these. Would love to invest in another set. I highly reccomend these!
Lego set is worth it, easy to assemble and premade instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This definitely is an experience, 751 lego pieces and spending 2 days working on it was a little easy. But this definitely has way more value because it took 2 days for me to finish and it’s so nice. I highly recommend this lego set but you need to be careful with them because they have a chance or breaking if you drop it.
