Great model, though repetitive

Overall, this model looks great. It definitely has more color than the previous version, and the details are fantastic.
It is a very repetitive build however; which is the nature of this piece since both towers are identical. The first 7(?) bags are then repeated after that (8-14?). I don't remember the exact number of bags. the best way I found to assemble without worrying too much about this conundrum was to assemble bag 1-4, then the corresponding 4 bags above it, and then repeat the process after that.
The overall length, height, etc., is great for a product at this sell point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice looking set, too long, mirror image build

I picked this up because I love most architecture sets as of late. Their foot print is such, that they fit nicely on my shelving, are easy to move and fun to build. This was just okay.
The build is the same thing 2 times over. Not the most fun.
The size, omg. Its about a yard long. Which makes finding a place for it, well.... hard. As much as I want to display it, I may be forced to take the lackluster build experience as about all I'll get out of it and disassemble the set to store. :(
Its 100% my fault for not realizing the shear size of this thing before buying, but most sets come in at about 1 to 1-1/2 feet max in the architecture sets.
As for the look, its quite nice. Just a boring build I probably won't be able to keep out.

great build, a little long but fun

i bought this set knowing that i won’t be grabbing the upcoming Sagrada Família. as cool as that set is, i just don’t have the space for it. this one ended up being a little longer than i had anticipated, but im sure i’ll be able to fit it somewhere. yeah yeah im sure it’ll incur the same critiques that all architecture sets do: ‘its repetitive’ yadda yadda. i think they did an above average job in trying to mitigate the repetitive feeling with this set though. the bags corresponded to each other on opposite ends of the total number (ie you would grab bag 2 & 10 to make the same parts as opposed to bag 2 & 3). i thought that was somewhat interesting. overall it’s a cool set, i enjoyed building it more than the Notre Dame and the german castle one. only other complaint would be the blue pieces that make up the bridge don’t have a final brick contact point so i imagine if you end up moving homes or whatnot those will easily pop off because they’re not super secure. as such i ended up committing a lego crime and gorilla gluing those pieces down as i didn’t want to have to worry about it in the future. oh yeah and price, always a complaint but what can we do. HUZZAH NO STICKERS. thank you lego.
