Italian Riviera Expansion

I enjoyed the build, however I reversed its direction to fit as an expansion and wished the builder app had a way to change the layout. I really like the pug!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lego Classic Beach Tram is an awesome set. This engaging family project is for ages 8 and up! We really enjoyed building it! This set took us about two and half hours. The set is really nice quality and packed with fun and cute details. We love that the tram car smoothly rolls back-and-forth, and the scene is full of lively details from the cute pug, seal and crab to the mini figures, surfing, fishing and driving the tram there is just so much activity going on to keep the kids entertained. You won't be disappointed.

Very unique lego set, well designed and definitely a must for lego lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fantastic experience trying lego for the first time. Took us a good 5-6 hours to complete it along with our friends who were also occupied. The instructions were very clear and was definitely helpful. The attention to detail of each piece was mind blowing. I especially loved the crab, the ice cream man, the stickers to customize it. There are some spare pieces also provided. The way the street car came together has to be seen to be believed. The size was perfect to hold and place it in the home as an attraction. Each piece is solidly built and love how it clicks into place when connected together. A very very well designed lego set that's a bit different from the basic lego sets available in the market. Very unique for sure.

Super fun build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a really fun build. My almost 6 year old helped me with the street car and really enjoyed that part. The station was less interesting for him. None of the assembly techniques were very complicated, but he had a hard time following along in certain areas, so I would agree with the 7+ age rating. The car and station are both sturdy and feel solid/weighty. The characters are all really fun and unique, and we loved the sea critters included with this set. My son has taken the street car "off roading" and it has held up fine, with the exception of the little gold posts falling off the side occasionally. All parts were accounted for, plus many little extras as usual for a big Lego set. I didn't time it, but I estimate it took about 3 hours total. Would have been faster without my "help", but what's the fun in that?? While we built this, we talked about San Francisco, the street cars, sea lions, and the giant hills - so it was a good learning experience, too. A good value and really cool set!

Fun build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just came back from a vacation and though there was no street car where we visited, this set was a fun build for us (mostly our kids) while we imagined what we would have done by the beach. My kids are 7 and 10 years old, this set is fairly easy to build. We added couple tracks from our city streetcar set to extend the ride. I wish there were couple palm trees to add shade and scenery to the set. Overall, we love it and will find more tracks to connect to our LEGO city.

Great set for kids and adults!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was about 3 years ago that I started getting into building Lego sets and the one thing that always gets me every time I do a new one is just how clever the company can be. This set is no exception. What is a seemingly straight forward build has so many fun little details if you look for them. This being a City set, it's aimed at a more general audience but I think there is stuff for both kids and adults here and that's what makes it so fun.
This set has so many great minfigures and you have the freedom to put them anywhere you please. This is great for display purposes but also a great set for kids to explore their imagination, especially because the tram has working eherls.The thing that struck me the most was just how large the set was when completed! It's a great size for display but if you want to separate the pieces, you can keep it relatively small.
Overall, the build took me roughly 2 hours to assemble which is pretty quick for 693 pieces. Instructions were easy but I would definitely supervise if you're doing this one with the kiddos.

Almost Perfect

This would have been one of the best sets if we could’ve added on to it so we could have it along our beach or in a park! We could’ve added track and accessories and modular buildings the ideas are endless and I think Lego missed the mark on this one. I know it wouldn’t move without assistance but that would have made it more playable
I would recommend this to a friend!
