it comes without the smart brick

the game is really interesting, but it is disappointing without the smart brick. i cant get a smart brick unless i buy another pokemon that comes whit one, and that feels like a rip-off
We don’t have a smart brick yet, but the build is quite bad. The axle used is too short because of the job cab attachments. My kid cannot push the car without the wheels falling off. He likes the squirrel build though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so much fun, my son had a great time building it and has been playing with it a lot but he also displayed it in his room because he said it makes a great decoration as well!
As a adult lego fan and a Pokemon fan, these sets are AMAZING!! They are literally like their own little Pokemon with the use of the sound effect brick.
The interactions with the smart brick almost makes it feel like a real life pokemon. Yes the sound effects are not the best, it doesnt sound like the pokemon, but being able to charge up attacks and see the light go with it, healing the pokemon, the health status color, the battle music and when you just have the pokemon by itself, it does respond to movement, if you lay it down it snores, if you move it to walk it makes the walking sounds.
IF you EVER had a tamagotchi, this is the pet inside but now in the real world...expect it wont "go away" if you forget to feed it.
So if you get this set, or any other set that does not include the brick, you MUST get the sound brick. Else it would just be a cute display.
sorry for my grammer.
I also bought the charzard/jolteon, Bulbasaur and Bidoof.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These new smart play legos are such a great idea and a way to get the most for your money! Kids can have fun building them but more importantly continue to play with them after. This set was a great add on to our bigger Pokémon smart play set and we could use those bricks to activate the tags. The instructions were also simple enough for my 5 1/2 year old to help us put together!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A super cute set that my eight year old assembled all on her own. I don’t know if it’s just me but are Lego sets built poorly now? I felt this one falls apart very easily and doesn’t connect how it should. I think the smart brick feature is very interesting but the smart brick is heavy and weighs the Squirtle down. The car is cute but the wheels kept popping off and the car comes apart in half so can’t really play with it as intended. This one is best for displaying in my opinion and not for hands on play.

Oh no, that doesn't sound right! The wheels of the car shouldn't fall apart easily, and the wheels shouldn't be popping off. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You’ll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together. Feel free to reach out to us at LEGO.build/Service if you need assistance!
