[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine quiet. The only thing, I would like to control the water level myself. I know it's a regulation on water usage. I can think of many things that use more water. Hot Tub Swimming Pools. Large showers ect,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not satisfied with machine, it doesn’t agitate clothes enough, it doesn’t use enough water in the wash ,pretty much all the cycles are the same. I don’t like it at all. I don’t think my clothes are getting clean as they can be.the machine runs slow.

If your clothes are not cleaning properly with your Maytag® Washer, please check the following key troubleshooting areas:
Initial Run: If the washer was recently installed, run an empty "Quick Wash" cycle with HE detergent before the first load to ensure the drum is clean.
Water Hoses: Verify the hot and cold water inlet hoses are connected to the correct household supply and that both water faucets are fully turned on for proper fill.
2. Cycle and Settings
Water Temperature: Use the warmest temperature safe for the fabric, as recommended by the garment care label. Warmer temperatures (hot or warm) generally clean better.
Cycle Selection: Choose the appropriate cycle for your load's fabric type and soil level.
Soil Level: Adjust the Soil Level (wash time) setting for heavily soiled items (Extra Heavy or Extra Power) or lightly soiled items (Light Soil).
Spin Speed: Faster spin speeds reduce drying time but can increase wrinkling. Slower speeds reduce wrinkling but may leave clothes damper.
3. Detergent and Additives
Detergent Type: Use only HE (High-Efficiency) detergent.
Detergent Amount: Always measure detergent. Using non-HE detergent or too much detergent can cause excessive suds, leading to poor cleaning and very wet loads. Follow the manufacturer's dosage based on soil level and load size.
Fabric Softener: Measure and dilute fabric softener, adding it only to the rinse portion of the cycle to avoid staining or discoloration.
Liquid Chlorine Bleach: Measure carefully and follow directions. Undiluted bleach will damage fabric.
4. Loading and Routine Care
Loading: Load items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate so they can move freely. Reduce load size if necessary.
Sorting: Separate dark items from lights and whites to prevent dye transfer.
Routine Cleaning: Run a Clean Washer Cycle (ideally monthly with an appliance cleaner like affresh®) to re-calibrate the water levels and remove detergent and softener build-up.

now it's wait and see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] since my purchase it has been used on 6 occasions, repairman was out yesterday and now it is a waiting game until a harness comes in next week. I hope this is not what the future is going to be like on a brand new machine.
This usage has been over 1 1/2 week period.

Very good purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this washer for a couple weeks after our 25 year old washer died,and are pleased with it so far. It washes well and is simple to use. I'm still getting used to pouring the detergent in and putting the clothes right on top of it, but have not found any spots on the clothes from this. The really positive aspect that I didn't expect is how well this washer spins the excess water from the clothes. Our dryer will probably last much longer because of this. Overall, we recommend this washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to be offered this steal! My washing machine broke and. Was having to use the admentities at my complex. This washer was needed and came right on time! Not only was it a steal for the price it also works amazing! My clothes are washed using less detergent and this washer holds more then the shared ones in laundry room! The upkeep will be a breeze and the time it takes to wash is not as long as I’m used to. I’m so happy with this purchase definitely worth every penny spent!

Expectations Were Met

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a new washer and so happy with my new Maytag one . My in-laws own a Maytag dryer and so far no issues . So my expectations were met for the washer . I’m also not a fan of the new touch screen washers so I was very happy I got one that didn’t have those feature because my old one was one and I kept having issues with the connectivity of settings .
