It’s not just a "pretty" appliance—though it does look great and stays clean thanks to the fingerprint-resistant finish—but it’s actually really practical for everyday life.
The space inside is the best part. I love how I can move the shelves around to fit weirdly shaped items or large platters without playing a game of Tetris every time I put groceries away. Everything is super easy to see, too, since the lighting is so bright. My favorite feature is definitely the AutoFill water pitcher; it sounds like such a small thing, but having cold, filtered water ready to go without standing there waiting for a dispenser is a total win for my family. It has auto ice making features and also supports SmartThings app to control/monitor the fridge remotely.
It runs really quietly and keeps everything perfectly chilled, so no more wilted lettuce after just a few days. It feels like a solid, well-thought-out upgrade that actually solves the little annoyances I used to have with my old unit. Definitely worth it!

Smart fridge solves two specific problems!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new fridge that fit a very specific space (36” opening next to a wall), the old fridge was oversized and the door could only half open! But I also didn’t want to compromise on storage space, so this 25 cu ft fridge was the perfect compromise. I can open the fridge and fill it too! I am also electrifying my house while slowly moving in, so the AI energy saving feature helps me lower energy consumption when I don’t need it to work hard, better understand how my fridge usage effects my total electricity use, and helps me control it more efficiently. The All-Around cooling is something I have been very impressed by, both with the Samsung fridge at my old apartment as well as this one: it cools the fridge evenly and I have not seen any condensation or ice buildup on either the freezer or the fridge compartments. Connecting to the SmartThings app was a breeze, and I love being able to change settings on my phone and not have to open the door, and it tells me if the door is open or closed! All in all I am excited to have found a fridge that can fix my problems without having to compromise.

Great Storage

There's plenty of room and I like the layout of the shelves and drawers. It's easy to find the drinks and condiments since they stay on the door shelves. The fridge has multiple drawers to fit all my produce and cheese. I was able to adjust one shelf so that large items like my pot of soup would be able to fit on the shelf. The pull out freezer also gives lots of space but I don't use the top pull out drawer or ice maker in the freezer. This is because it's kind of a hassle to open and I would forget what I put in there if I used it.
The outside of the fridge stays very clean looking and I'm glad there are no smudges. The doors open easier than my old fridge and close easier too. The fridge is very quiet compared to my old fridge. I like the simple look of the front without having an ice maker or screen. It would have been nice if the fridge was a few inches wider and less deep so that it would be more countertop depth.

Awesome fridge

I also love the dairy/ veggie drawer near the bottom of the fridge because it’ll keep my food fresher for longer. The ice machine is so convenient and perfect for my morning iced coffees! I love that it’s an automatic ice maker because I don’t have to worry about refilling or running out. The AI energy mode on the SmartThings app allows me to ensure that I am most efficiently using my fridge and not over-spending on my electrical bill. I also love the inside depth of the fridge because it gives more space for food storage. Overall, it’s a great appliance and looks good too!

A Good, Modern Fridge That Gets the Job Done

Quiet and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced my existing Samsung, and although my old unit was larger, this one has is many improvements. First and foremost, the ice maker is now in a freezer, and produces much larger cubes, in a convenient location in the freezer drawer. The refrigerator and freezer section have deep shelves with lots of space for storage, including the storage space on the double doors. The door open chime is pleasant and will eventually flash the light if the door remains open. One new feature for me was being able to have the fridge send a text when the water filter needs changing. One designed aspect I did like was not having much flexibility with shelf locations. Only the middle shelves can be raised or lowered and only one choice at that. This manufacturer does make some smart shelf options, some that tilt, and some that retract. It would have been nice to have that option here. Lastly, this model does not have a water dispenser. That wasn't an issue for me but something to be kept in mind if it's a requirement for others.

Modern Style Meets Everyday Function

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung RF25C5A01SRAA immediately caught my attention because of its design. It has a modern French door style with clean, straight edges instead of the rounded look found on many refrigerators. The flat lines and minimalist appearance give it a premium feel that fits perfectly in both contemporary and traditional kitchens.
Beyond its appearance, the amount of usable storage is impressive. The refrigerator feels much larger on the inside than I expected. The shelves are wide and deep, the produce drawers hold plenty of fruits and vegetables, and the door bins easily accommodate gallon-sized containers along with all of our condiments. Everything has its place, and it’s much easier to stay organized than with my previous refrigerator.
One of my favorite design decisions is the ice maker being tucked away inside the freezer instead of taking up space in the refrigerator door. Not only does this maximize the storage capacity in the fresh food section, but it also keeps the exterior of the refrigerator clean and uncluttered. Also, a nice feature about the ice maker is once you turn it on, it continuously makes ice and refills the ice bin as needed.
Samsung clearly paid attention to both form and function with this model. It offers an elegant, timeless design, outstanding storage capacity, and thoughtful features that make everyday use more enjoyable. For example, the AI Energy Mode is an energy-saving feature inside Samsung’s SmartThings Energy service. When enabled, it learns your usage patterns and can save you money!
If you’re looking for a refrigerator that’s as beautiful as it is practical, I highly recommend this one. It has exceeded my expectations in every way.
