Do t waste your money!!

This by far as the worst build ever. First of all, the manual was rolled up inside the box. So, it was hard to follow. The build was so boring, I almost boxed it up and sent it back. Two bags were missing pieces, but, I had others from previous builds. The final product looked leaning to one side a little. Lego missed the mark on this one. Go back to the design team and think a little bit harder. I would not recommend this one!!

More Tintin, Please

The build was fun. The characters are adorable - especially Snowy - but I don't understand why a helmet could not be designed for Snowy. Pictures in the instruction book showed the gantry and I would love to have that! Maybe it could be packaged with the blue jeep from the cover of Destination Moon (and Professor Calculus).
Please create Red Rackam's pirate ship, The Unicorn (with character convertible from Red Rackam to Captain Haddock, of course), and the shark submersible!

MILU HELMET

Thinking about the set... What jumps up. Is that Milu does not have a helmet. I know it is an other patent etc... Lets have justice for Milu's helmet!!
The other thing is the crown pice assambled in the step 186, should be great, if the handle was thick enough so the crew could hold on it, is to thin so does not atached to their hands.
Other than that I really enjoy it!

Being the first set (that I'm aware of) featuring a famous Belgian character, I knew this was a day one buy.
The overall build was fun, and it was interesting to see how the rocket came together using Tecnic pieces.
The rocket is a perfect display size, small enough to fit nearly anywhere but large enough to become the center focus in the living room.
The cockpit is rather small, but since this is more directed as a display set, it is not a big problem.
The characters are great too! I am happy they are in their space suits, as you could now recreate famous scenes from the original book.
Very happy with the set.
