Really excellent build, design, and overall idea from lego. You guys should continue to lean into the historical world of creation. There’s simply so much inspiration to not at least consider it. Both the viking village and this have been fantastic examples of the two worlds conjoining to make something really cool. Building process was very enjoyable, price is reasonable, and it looks great when finished. A great deal of thought went into the details, and it deserves its flowers. A+ job on this one fellas.

I was super excited when I saw this set and immediately thought it would make a great addition to my medieval fantasy world I am building. Unique minifigures, great value, many useful pieces to part out from multiple copies. Just completed the build and it looks great! Need more of this lego!

Excellent set for display or play

What a wonderful set! I saw this in the store and was immediately drawn to it for its size and value. The build was very straightforward with no complicated techniques. It would be perfect for children and adults as well. The finished build provided ample play space, and was functional as well as decorative. Between the little rooms and the tea house, there were many opportunities for play. It also makes a beautiful display piece, highlighting traditional Chinese architecture. With over 1500 pieces and 9 minifigures, the value was excellent. With the modular connections, I hope that LEGO plans to give us more sets like this to expand on this great build.

I bought this set for my son and I to build together. I wanted it to add to my medieval area next to my Ninjago stuff. Great build. Excellent figs.
