Great Build
on September 23, 2026

I took about 2 days to build this amazing set. This was the largest one I’ve ever built and it was a blast. I felt like a kid again building this and it was a great time. The designers really knew how to make a sizable build that didn’t feel too overwhelming. My only critique is I wish the minis had some leg printings because the bodies are super detailed so the legs having no printing seems a little jarring. I did make some small modifications to connect the well to the main build so I can transport it all together. Over great set!

Excellent set

I hope this becomes a theme of modular buildings, like the build itself hints at. This set has a lot of charm, and it would make a great series. Good blend of play functions as well as "displayablilty". Good figures. Again, lots of charm!

Great set but not perfect

I think this Lego set is a really great set, it was pretty good build, looks very pleasing in the astatic of the ancient chinese era it's portraying. and almost a great line of minifigures too. But there are a few things that I think really take away from the set once you find them in building this set.
1. I think the way the open back end to the kitchen could have looked a bit better if some steps were added to it but that's just me.
2. when I got to the bag of the tea shop was being built and the tea shop minifigure instead of having his brown legs that is shown on all the box art and promo pictures he just has sand green legs which made me wonder if this was put in my set by mistake but apparently it's not. so it just felt like from the get go the box should have shown either those green legs or just have had the brown ones in the box!

Really excellent build, design, and overall idea from lego. You guys should continue to lean into the historical world of creation. There’s simply so much inspiration to not at least consider it. Both the viking village and this have been fantastic examples of the two worlds conjoining to make something really cool. Building process was very enjoyable, price is reasonable, and it looks great when finished. A great deal of thought went into the details, and it deserves its flowers. A+ job on this one fellas.

I was super excited when I saw this set and immediately thought it would make a great addition to my medieval fantasy world I am building. Unique minifigures, great value, many useful pieces to part out from multiple copies. Just completed the build and it looks great! Need more of this lego!
