Ball Joints

As someone who regularly builds and collects LEGO sets, I was disappointed by the quality control on this 5/4/26 release. The primary issue is the ball joints — tolerances feel inconsistent throughout the build. Some joints are overly loose and fail to hold position properly, while others are excessively tight, creating unnecessary stress during assembly and adjustment.
The design itself is strong, but the joint quality negatively impacts stability, articulation, and overall user experience. For a premium modern LEGO release, I expected more consistent engineering and part quality. Hopefully this is addressed in future production runs or through improved replacement parts.

I loved building this set it was so fun and has a very unique build. I LOVE the chrome Pieces that are on it super great.

As soon as this set was revealed, I knew I needed it as a Mandalorian fan. I finished the build within a day of getting it, and it’s easily my favorite set I’ve ever built. This was also my first UCS set, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The build techniques were really satisfying, lots of clever angles and small details that keep it interesting the whole time. Every time I walk by it, I end up stopping to look at it for a minute. It’s a bit pricey, but 1000% worth it. honestly one of the best-value UCS sets in my opinion.

I really love this set. I think it is great and I can't wait to see it finished. It is a tad bit overpriced though. But besides that I love the build and the element of the metallic silver pieces is really cool.
