Works well but battery doesn't even last a day. Needs to be charged about twice daily.

Great Travel Hotspot with killer Wifi-Offload feature

Used on a recent road trip - excellent alternative to carrier-provided hotspots. I used a pre-paid physical SIM and got full 5G speeds. The wifi offload feature is very useful. You can save mobile data when you are at home or near available wifi. Setup was super-easy (took me 5 minutes max to go from out of the box to online). The NETGEAR app isn't required to use the M7, but it does enhance the experience. Having eSIM as an option makes this a good product for international travel.
It’s ok I guess. I’m not sure it has as much bang for my bucks.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Product had rave reviews I’m not sure it was worth the price tag as I’ve had several issues with it remaining connected or connecting to my work computer.

Massive bulky brick w no touchscreen, no antenna plug, limited periods of 5G options only (max of 30days). Keeps disconnecting on 6ghz.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted a product portable with high performance, slim, light weight but also working in Europe and Asia. I use the Netgear Nighthawk 5G M7 Portable with Google Fi and it's working like a charm. I already tested it on the beach and at the hotel. It provided better speed in hotel rooms, close to the windows, compared to the WIFI, but also better reliability. I work remotely and having a reliable internet during my trips is very important.
This replaces an older travel router that was just a wifi travel router. The added SIM card slot and eSIM capability along with the wifi offloading and built in battery gives this much more capability. I took both away on holiday recently and weirdly the older router couldn't see the local wifi network at the accommodation. Glad to have had the M7 with me! The small form factor and wifi7 means this should be something I can use for many years ahead. It's nice to be able to go somewhere, connect the M7 to wifi (or run the SIM) and just have all my devices and my wife's devices work without having to manually connect every device to the local network. Very happy with this little unit
