Exceptionally efficient and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary from Dyson for review purposes and from initial receipt, to set up, to ease of use, here is my experience with the new Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones.
When the box arrived, I was surprised because it was so small, weighing less than 9 lbs, unboxing and setting it up was a breeze, there are pictures on the inside of the box that show how the pieces fit together and I’d say the whole process took less than 5 minutes. The machine itself is lightweight, but feels very sturdy, I can tell it is really thoughtfully made and every detail is purposeful. I especially appreciate that you don’t need to do any drilling or adhere anything to the wall in order to use the dock. The cord wraps neatly underneath the dock, to maintain a clean aesthetic, and the machine connects magnetically for charging, so it doesn’t need to be unplugged between uses. The additional cleaning tool fits nicely on the back of the dock, so all pieces are easy to keep track of.
I consider myself tech savvy, but even if I wasn’t, connecting my machine to the MyDyson app was extremely easy. When I first placed the PencilVac on the dock, it lit up with a QR for me to scan and from there guided me through the process in app on my phone. The app gives insights on best uses for certain tools, and how to maintain my machine to get the most out of it, so I highly recommend using it.
I’ve now spent about a week using the PencilVac and my floors have never looked cleaner. It is easily able to maneuver into small spaces where previously I would have to physically move the furniture in order to clean. It glides under my bed and the light illuminates everything in its path so I can see where to navigate the Fluffycones to make sure that all debris is removed. I can also maneuver between legs of tables, and into tight areas between furniture, and rotate the head of the PencilVac in a 360 degree circle with only the flick of my wrist. I have long hair and it is gathered and removed through the side of the PencilVac with zero issue or clogging of the Fluffycones. Before this, I have NEVER been able to vacuum my hair, this is quite an accomplishment. Additionally, this machine literally glides on the floor as it works, my mother is in her 70s and commented how easy it was to use as well. The vacuum is strong and has excellent suction, the various modes offer great flexibility in the longevity of the battery life, as even in ECO mode, it had enough suction to tackle everything in it’s path, and it is surprisingly quiet for how strong it is. I am very impressed with this machine.
Regarding emptying the bin, it is very easy to empty, but I would recommend making sure you have enough debris to dispose of, if the tube isn’t full enough, I have found it is more challenging to coax the debris out, but waiting an extra vacuuming session solves this easily and if you are cleaning an area that has more debris, this probably won’t even be an issue for you.

The best vaccum for hard woods!

While I’ve always appreciated Dyson’s engineering, this model feels like the ultimate realization of their "form meets function" philosophy.
The first thing you notice is the stunningly slim profile. True to its name, it’s remarkably lightweight and maneuverable. It’s perfect for those of us who live in apartments or homes with tight corners where a full-sized upright feels like driving a tank. Because it was a gift, I wasn't sure if it would have the power to handle my high-traffic areas, but the suction is surprisingly fierce—it picks up fine dust and pet hair from hardwood floors effortlessly.
What I love most is the docking design. It’s so unobtrusive that it blends right into my living room decor. Transitioning between the floor head and the brush tool is seamless, making it a breeze to go from cleaning baseboards to refreshing the sofa. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Dyson on my LVP floors since I received it & Dyson is just next level. The Pencil Vac is small but versatile & love that it gets in hard to reach areas easily. The light is another amazing feature because if you’re like me with vision impaired you’ll understand why this feature is so useful with making sure dirt isn’t missed. Emptying is easy, with no mess dumping, with just a press of a button & dump. This is one of my favorite clean up tools thus far and I can’t see myself without my Dyson! Gifted by Dyson

Love this vacuum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has been a life saver for me, since I live in a small apartment with two cats. The vacuum is super skinny so it takes up minimal space to store it and the dirt/hair gets compressed for easy, clean disposing using the syringe mechanism. The FluffyCones head is so efficient at sucking the hair up and cutting it, so you don’t have to detangle hair anymore!! The LED illuminates forward and backward so I don’t miss any spots when cleaning, plus the vacuum cleans in any direction! I love that it can connect to the app for tutorials and info on the vacuum too, so glad this was offered by Dyson!

Clean you can see

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this PencilVac Fluffycones complimentary from Dyson and really couldn't be more pleased with it. It is incredibly lightweight and being cordless, having a cleaning head that turns in every direction and being flat enough to fit under most of our heavy furniture, it is incredibly easy to maneuver anywhere needed. The eco mode (my preferred mode) allows me to clean our entire top floor (living room, kitchen, dining room, entryway, hallway and two bathrooms) without having to stop and mess with plugging in a cord.
The LED light is perhaps my favorite feature of all. I can see every grain of sand/dust/pet hair in front of the cleaner head and watch it all disappear into the syringe, leaving a perfectly clean floor behind it. My husband said it was a bold move to put the light on. I agree, but Dyson can be bold. They want you to see the job it's done.
Switching from cleaner head to crevice tool is very easy. Click. It's off. Click. The new one is on. The crevice tool is perfect for hitting all the hard to reach spots along our rock wall (very jagged) and I can hit every square inch of floor between the cleaner head and crevice tool.
Emptying it is also easy. Again, click and you're there. I very much appreciate not having a dust cloud come up to greet me when doing so. Sometimes sand can make the syringe stick slightly and when this happens, I take it apart after emptying and rinse the tube part, wipe down the wand and make sure the filter is clear. After doing so, it is good to go again.
If by chance you run over something you shouldn't (like a toy you thought would move that doesn't), it will shut itself off. It won't let something in that can hurt it and if I have any questions about anything, I head to the MyDyson app and there are videos that cover pretty much everything I could need to know right at my fingertips.
I thought our floors were clean before. Now they are Dyson clean. There is a HUGE difference.
The LED light is perhaps my favorite feature of all. So efficient and lightweight

As a new mom it’s amazing because it’s not noisy at all but the green light on the vacuum lets you see every dust particle underneath areas . I love using it daily because it picks up so much and the battery is so efficient. It’s the perfect size for my storage since it doesn’t take too much space. complimentary from dyson
