Great size and design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to get this fridge and for the most part, we love it. It holds a lot and it's spacious enough to where you can see everything and you don't have to go searching. Which is so nice. The side doors have amazing storage as well. My one and only complaint is with the ice machine and the drip pan, ice takes a while to come out and can get stuck and the drip pan is flush so water sits and then drips off. But other than that, we are super happy with it!

The ice maker in the door frees up storage capacity in the freezer compartment. However, water keeps seeping through the dispenser having keep drying up the dispenser wall and the water puddles on the dispenser base. This could be an issue if left unattended for a period of time, such as vacation. Overall, it appears to be a solid refrigerator.

It's not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser on your refrigerator after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this new fridge from GE! I love how much room it has in the fridge and freezer! I am able to fit so much food and drinks in the fridge and alot of food in the freezer as well! I love the ice maker on this fridge, it is very convenient for me because I use ice daily for my iced coffees. It doesn’t make any loud noises. I have had it for a few months now and have not had any issues with it!

Nice sleek look

Got this GE fridge to replace an old GE Profile that finally died. Loved that fridge! This is level down, due to not wanting to spend so much money. It was delivered today, so not sure about the actual function. Few things though that your engineers or designers should think about. My husband is very handy and decided to hookup the water line himself. Problem is the piece that you have to insert the copper water line to is very short, and initially leaked. Also, on door with water/ice, the shelf maybe should have a well built there to catch dripping water or any excess ice. Just 2 initial thoughts so far. I'm hoping to love this one as much as I did my old one... we'll have to see.
Quick update: yes, you need to add a well or lip to ice/water fixture. I went to try out the ice 2 days later, it grinned for at least a minute before actually dispensing ice, then it shot out like a bat. Had ice all over the floor due to my glass not being able to hold the amount dispensed. I'm not sure what the problem or answer is.

Expensive Disappointment

We did research to try to make the right choice when replacing the terrible samsung refrigerator that came with the house when we bought it. A whole two months and three days into ownership and the ice maker is broken. The WHOLE reason we went in search of a new fridge. What happened to refrigerators with reliable ice makers? It is a nice looking fridge but a total waste of money if it doesn't even last 3 months before components break down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Fridge be sure to Measure

So far, I'm in love with this fridge, it was just delivered yesterday. I want to note that the measurements for the fridge without the hinge for the height is off by a quarter of an inch... they did not take into account the wheels. We had to cut my cabinet so that it would fit. I used to have an old side by side fridge, and it's a little crazy that the new refrigerators are not the same measurements. The only other reason I gave it four starts is that there is not a drip tray for the water/ice dispenser in the door like other models have. Otherwise, the LED lights are fabulous, it is very spacious. Magnets stick to the front. The temp controls for the fridge and freezer are right on. It cooled very quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was pleasantly surprised it only took just a few hours to chill at capacity, love and appreciate the space! The structure allows for better organization and great flow for food storage. Just a eye catching piece, long water dispenser and wonderful water and ice power
