The Opus 2 is a big improvement over the Opus. The near zero retention and larger burr set make this new grinder especially good. How is en though the stwpless being adjustment is nice. The execution seems cheap. the action is not smooth or fluid the indicator ring move up while adjusting and is stiff to use
I like the grinder. I would recommend it as good choice.

The build quality is too

The build quality is too low for the price point. The grind size bezel wobbles as I turn the dial. It's even noisier than my Ode grinder.

This is my first coffee grinder. I love the Design of Fellows products and was looking at the Opus I but concerned by some of the issues - specifically retention and the 2 stages of grinder settings. The Opus 2 has definitively address those issues. Retention is minimal and dialing in the grind is easy and precise - love the feel of the metal dial. The magnetic cups are fantastic and having a magnetic cleaning brush means I always know where to find it. I have used the grinder for moka pot and French press and the grind consistency was spot on at both settings. Fantastic grinder! Thank you!

The difference in the flavor

The difference in the flavor of my coffee was not expected. Every cup of coffee I have had since I got this grinder has been the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had.
