This machine feels well-built and thoughtfully designed, and it’s impressively quiet and easy to use. One issue is that when removing the catch cup, coffee grinds still fall out and make a bit of a mess which is not ideal and unexpected.

I love the look of it and it grinds well, but I keep having an issue with the grind vibration unlocking the top portion and shutting it off mid-grind. I have to turn to the right again and hear the beep before I can finish the grind. It happens almost every time I use it.

I previously mainly used a blade grinder and French coffee press. To get better coffee (and reduce cholesterol), I've changed to an Aiden Coffee maker along with the Opus 2 grinder. It's very fast & quiet and I'm happy with the consistent results and ability to make a variety of grind adjustments to suit the beans I'm using.

The larger burr set makes quick work of espresso, Pour-Over, and drip grind adjustments. Easy to operate, and to clean. Overall, a good grinder, at a good price.

I love it, but it was not calibrated right when we received. Luckily I found a loom video on Reddit on how to calibrate. Works great now!
