Grind is very consistent, quiet, fast, low retention! Typically . 1g retention. Bellows works great. Everything they wanted to do to make the Opus 1 better they accomplished!

Much better than the original

Much better than the original Opis! The first gen was trash, 4 grams of retention, inconsistent grinds and broke twice on me. After the second opus grinder broke on me, CS allowed me to return it for credit on account to purchase the Opis gen 2. I just received that last week and so far the grinds are consistent, feels a lot sturdier and has zero retention! You did a great job on the re-design.

what a machine! I am very impressed with every aspect of this grinder. Turned up my espressos to expert grade. I'm using less coffee and getting a better cup than ever before. It grinds in a fraction of the time my old Gaggia MDF did and far quieter. I can't say enough good things about this piece of equipment. Absolutely essential for any home espresso fan. For the price it's unbeatable.

The hopper lid arrive in

The hopper lid arrive in the wrong orientation that lead me to believe the machine was broken.
The knob for the grind setting seems to drift a bit during grinding.
Feels like an unpolished product.
