I love the design, it
on June 23, 2026

I love the design, it being much quieter than my last grinder, and how specific the grind size can be.
I wish more of the chassis and the magnetic ground catcher cup was made of metal. I would have paid more for a heartier build and less plastic. I'd even buy replacement parts in metal.

So far seems really good!

So far seems really good! Only used it for pour over and drip coffee so far, but it's really solid. I appreciate the fast grind time and that it's not too loud. The only knock I have against it is the retention/slightly inconsistent looking grinds. I have no way of measuring grind consistency, but visually there are sometimes very large chunks compared to everything else. Other than that I'm a big fan!

Took a second to dial in my preferred grind, but love it now.

Clean consistent mess free grind
on June 21, 2026

The New Opus 2 as using it now for about two weeks turns out the most consistent beautiful grind and WOW mess free no loose grinds flying around. I use this for a coarse grind for Cold brew and not for your regular everyday cup of joe so I can't comment on any other grind settings other than finding #9 is great for my cold brew.

I love it so far. I never would have thought a good grinder could make such a big difference in the taste of my coffee.

Absurdly overpriced and not better

Absurdly overpriced and not better than other products on the market. Doesn't even have the ability to measure the amount of coffee you are grinding so you have to weigh it out afterwards anyway.
