Great performance...but

I am finding the fan noise on this PC to be very bothersome. The proprietary app Giga Byte Controller; used to control a few things including the fans, doesn't seem to malke them any quieter than the normal setting which is quite loud. It like sitting beside a large air purifier set on on Med-Hi.
The sound is enough to make me think of returning the PC and looking for something else. I will check with the manufacturer and Geek squad if this is the norm. If it is, then it would be too bad as I love everything alse about it and benefited from it being on sale. I woulld hate to have to return it.
