Love my Electrolux washer!

It’s quiet and efficient. My brother has one and it’s 15 yrs old and still going! My old whirlpool gave out at 7 years!ny daughter just bought an Electrolux because she knew I loved mine!

I just need a dependable 4.3-4.5 cu ft washing machine. Being a senior and massage therapist, most of my washing is cold normal soil. But I am not disappointed with all the features available to me if I do have special laundry needs. The control panel is logically laid out and is easy to select the options one prefers. I accidentally hit the lock button to prevent buttons from being pushed when the machine is not in use. Even reading the directions in the owners manual, it took me a few tries to get the machine unlocked. The manual does not include any troubleshooting for the machine--just for washing problems. I made an error and turned on the machine and forgot to turn on the water (my home owners insurance agent told me the most costly expenses is when one of the hoses breaks and floods the basement while you are unaware this is happening. He suggested I always turn the water off when not in use and get high quality hoses.) The machine gave an E11 error message and I knew it sensed there was no water. I immediately turn on the water, but the machine just flashed the error message and stayed locked. So I tired the old unplug-wait-replug. Nope. I went to look in the user maual and found there was no help. Crap! I just got the machine and jammed it. So I walked away with the water turned on as I could hear some sort of mechanizations coming from the machine. After what seemed an eternity, the machine 'found' the water and ran the cycle. Yes, I made a label that says "Turn ON the water". Sorry for the long story, but I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to. Again, I am very pleased with the purchase and hope to use the machine for may years. I run about 4-6 loads a week, mainly twin flat sheets (massage therapist!!).

This is a washer that does everything you could ever want. It has many useful settings. from sanitizing clothes, a steam function, to an express wash--18 minutes! I use this feature all the time. The wash is very quiet. Clothes come out perfectly clean. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

I just replaced my 15 year old Frigidaire washer and dryer with a mid-level brand new Electrolux set in Ice Blue and couldn't be happier. These units are so quiet, and the intuitiveness of the button menus make doing laundry a breeze. I got the dryer that has the steam feature for making these less wrinkled. Wow- it works. I am notorious for letting the clothes sit in the dryer too long and this feature alone is a major win for me. Especially for for branded work shirts which are those pullover polos. They come out so nice and smooth- and only takes a few minutes. I also like having a quick cycle which my daughter loves because as a student with a part-time job, she is always behind on her laundry and also wears branded clothing that must be wear-ready. I've already received compliments on the color of these machines from my visiting neighbor. I did not buy the pedestals, instead opting to build my own three-crate drawer pedestal cabinet out of 2 x 6 lumber that's about 15" in height. The units were fairly easy to maneuver into position and hook up. It was a fun father/daughter project. I'm very happy with my purchase from the Home Depot, which was delivered to my home with great care and friendliness.
