Replace a Maytag with pedestal to this and very happy with the choice. Great easy to operate washing machine. Like steam option I didn’t have.

Quiet, excellent cleaning

Although it's still too early to give a thorough review (washer delivered a week ago), initial impression is that the washer does an excellent cleaning job. I detail my car each week so the microfiber towels get pretty grimy. However, the Electrolux is able to remove all the built-up stains that my previous Maytag was unable to handle. Additionally, it also removed what I thought was a permanent stain on a bed comforter that's been there for years. So yes, the cleaning is impressive. My previous 2 washers (Samsung, Maytag) only lasted 7 years each, so I'm hoping that this Electrolux is more durable. My only concern is the inaccessibility of the water pump filter which is normally at the lower front panel of the front loader, but this no longer exists and you would have to call a technician to clean the filter located inside the unit, which tech support advises once a year maintenance.

I was worried about my 18 year old Kenmore washer going on me. Parts were no longer available but with all the issues surrounding new washers, i was so paranoid about choosing any brand washer. After much soul searching and review reading, I settled on the Electrolux 400 series and I am thrilled. It is so easy to use and my clothes are noticeably cleaner. The only thing I wish it had is a handwash cycle or an extra low spin. I will have to get use to not having that. Otherwise, I absolutely love it! Oh, and the color - the blue is stunning and fits my beach decor so well. (Please make a touch up pen available in this color).

New Machine, New Hope

Had it with the 5-year old Maytag breaking every few months. So far, after a month with the new Electrolux we’re impressed. The cycles are shorter which is great. The only thing I noticed so far is that we had a small load of sheets and a few items and it was too small. The spin cycle would not finish as the small amount of laundry wouldn’t balance correctly.

Works well, clothes are clean. The extra cleaning for whites with steam get whites clean but hard on fabric. Works great and cleans the clothes
