Overall very good unit. The ice and water dispenser leave a lot to be desired. Ice spews all over the floor and is very slow. If you have a narrow glass, the water stream misses the glass and dumps water on the tray because the activation pad is too far back from the spout.

Looks nice but it’s a lemon

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a GE fridge that I had for many years. It looks wonderful but after about 2 weeks it randomly started leaking and leaving puddles on the ground. The smart features are not that great. The autofill feature only works about 50% is the time. There is no internal temperature monitor on this fridge either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the autofill, it is important to note that not all containers will work with the sensors located in the dispenser. Poor dispenser design

The ice/water dispenser is a disappointment. Cube ice is slow to dispense. My biggest complaint is that water dispenses temped water only.

When changing from CUBED to CRUSHED ICE, expect a slight delay before the new operation begins. This is normal operation.

The water dispenser on a French-door refrigerator does provide chilled water. The temperature of the water depends on the temperature within the fresh food compartment of the appliance. The water does not dispense at a constant, set temperature.

We purchased a full suite of GE cafe appliances 18 months ago.. All 3 (oven, range and fridge) have broken down multiple times. Lost use, ruined food, days lost waiting for repair people to show up. I will never buy a GE appliance again. No one has offered to replace this junk. These were supposed to be high end.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have bought two fridges from GE in the last 10 years.... don't!! run...
They have a top of little things that add up.. too cheap.. i thought i would just buy the "better model" haha it gets worse the more you spend...

I love this refrigerator

This refrigerator is awesome. I love the middle drawer which is perfect for snacks and beverages. I also love the quick access outer door making it easy to retrieve juices, milk and creamer without opening the entire refrigerator. The freezer is large and I can easily see everything I have instead of having to move everything around to find what I need. The best feature is the scanning capabilities, allowing me to scan any product I need making my grocery list a breeze. The list transfers to my app on my phone. No more forgetting or buying double. I would have given it a 5 Star, but there are two things it is lacking. First is the ice maker. I use a lot of ice and this ice maker can keep up with everyday use, however, it is not enough for parties. Also the ice/water dispenser plate at the bottom of the refrigerator should have never passed quality control. The stamping were double stamped, leaving indentations which will eventually lead to possible rust and just looks terrible. I need to contact GE for a replacement part. Overall I do love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!
