It takes a little getting use to.

I really like this new dishwasher but I was not a fan in the beginning. Too many changes from my original that I loved. I still haven't unlocked the secret to all the loading areas but if I use the normal wash cycle all goes well. On auto my granite counter top got way too hot and it took forever for the steam drying idea to stop dripping. Normal works the best for me and being able to load "plastics" anywhere is also a plus. Hope this helps

Drying and bottom rack

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I replaced a Bosch 100 series that lasted 23 years with a Bosch 300 series that I thought would be just as quiet since the rating was about the same and that it would have some feature improvements. It did not. It is a less basic model than my previous and the new design or steam drying the fishing is awful! I wish my salesman had warned me so that I would not have replaced my old with a new Bosch. It's seems like everything now is a lesser quality than before. The MAIN COMPLAINT besides attempting to dry dishes with steam Is that a 2' x 2' area above the dishwasher (my granite counter top) gets super hot while the dishwasher is running. It runs for 2 hours!!! Drys with steam and my counter top you can't touch until about a half hour after it stops. Absurd
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
