[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size and weight of the toothbrush. It is much lighter than previous electric toothbrushes. I enjoy the various settings for speed and cleaning. The timer works great to ensure I'm staying on pace with brushing the areas of my teeth. The only complaint is it got scratched up easier than I anticipated (while traveling). Oh, the battery life is AMAZING. I have not charged it once for over 2 weeks and see no loss in power.

Quietest Sonicare I've had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *** I received this product free as part of a product test ***
The item is a typical Sonicare toothbrush that once turned on stays on for two minutes per button press. It has two options for brushing style - sensitive and clean. Also, there's three speeds (1, 2, or 3 lights). The brush does make an audible sound every thirty seconds to let the user know that they need to move to the next area of the mouth. The battery on the toothbrush does last longer than my other toothbrush so that was positive for me. However, I would likely use a different brush as the bristles are entirely too soft for me and I don't feel that it's brushing or cleaning enough compared to my other brushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product for free as part of a product test. Overall I really like it. It gets my teeth really clean, almost slick. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't clean in between my teeth very well.

Power brush for a power smile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Philips Sonicare 6000 Rechargeable Toothbrush courtesy of Stellar Product Testing Panel. As someone with extremely limited experience with an electric toothbrush I wasn’t sure what to expect. Thankfully the Philips Sonicare 6000 Rechargeable Toothbrush directions are very easy and clear. The only assembly required is the toothbrush head that easily clicks into place. It comes with a charging station that is compact enough to fit on my small vanity. I fully charged the toothbrush 3 days ago and have not had to recharge it since. Along with these perks the toothbrush itself does a pretty thorough cleaning and my teeth feel very smooth and clean after brushing. I appreciate the sensitive setting for my thin enamel teeth. It is taking some adjustment to not manually brush my teeth but to simply hold the toothbrush in place for a few seconds on each tooth as stated in the directions. This really is all that is needed for a complete cleaning except for an area next to a crooked canine tooth that I do need to give a little extra attention to. For all other teeth I follow the 20 second time signal to move to the next section of my mouth. I did only give 4 stars because even though it is really great it is not the ultimate perfect product. The design of the toothbrush is attractive as it is clean and sleek looking. However, it is so sleek that it becomes slippery in my hand causing me to frequently readjust my grip; I do wish it had a rubber hand gripping area. Another bothersome aspect is that if the toothbrush is on but not in my mouth (ex. Pulling it out to speak to my child) it sprays toothpaste everywhere. I realize this is something I need to be more conscientious of on my end but until I get better at it I foresee lots of mirror cleaning and shirt changes. The only other thing that bothers me is the angle I use when brushing my back molars rattles the top of the toothbrush against my top molars causing the purple pressure light to activate. I do a follow up with a manual toothbrush once a day to make sure I can get the way back completely clean. Overall I do like the Philips Sonicare 6000 Rechargeable Toothbrush and hopefully after more time and practice I will master it completely!

Best for sensitive gums
on August 25, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However, I can wholeheartedly say that I would buy this again and again. I’ve always had sensitive gums, but only right around my upper canines. Everywhere else is fine, but the gums there will bleed at the slightest provocation. I love my other sonic toothbrush, just an older model, for how clean my teeth and mouth feel. I’d just gotten used to no matter how gently I brushed a little bit of pink when I rinsed. I have none of that with this toothbrush. Thoughtful upgrades that really made me notice the differences between this and my two year old model, and so gentle that I think those gums are finally starting to recover some strength. No more bleeding! I’m so thrilled and would highly recommend this to literally anyone who has sensitivity.

Very nice features take this brush up a notch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other electric toothbrushes for many years but have never had the money to try a proper Sonicare until I was selected to receive the Philips Sonicare 6000 to review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was not required to make any particular statements and am providing my honest thoughts here.
I appreciated the more eco-friendly packaging, which favored waxed paper and cardboard over plastic but still felt premium. The manual was helpful, although the brush was intuitive to use and didn't require much explaining. I have sensitive gums, so I appreciated the sensitive mode and the adjustable intensity. The electric toothbrush I've been using is several years old and is getting a bit rattly, so the smooth micropulsations of the Sonicare were a pleasant change. I also really liked the feature that slightly changed the vibration to let you know to move to a new section of your mouth every 20 seconds. I don't have a great sense of time, and counting "one-mississippi-two-mississippi" with a toothbrush in your mouth can get messy, so this timer feature is definitely the most useful aspect of the brush for me! My teeth felt slick and smooth after brushing, and my sensitive gums were not irritated at all -- likely also due to the pressure sensor that turns purple if you press too hard, another feature I appreciated.
Overall, I'm quite pleased and would recommend a Sonicare brush, although if I were spending my own money, I might pay extra for some of the additional features of the higher Sonicare series, like linking with your smartphone to monitor your brushing techniques. The general lack of multiple fancy features is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5. However, this brush is a very nice entry point into the Sonicare family, and I won't be going back to my old tooth-rattler!

Toothbrush is great but uses USB A
on August 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Functionally, this toothbrush is great. I definitely was able to feel a difference in how clean my teeth were even after the first use. The three different modes (clean, sensitive, and white) give the brush much appreciated versatility, and allow my wife and I to both use the same base by simply swapping out the brush head. I use the brush on clean mode, and one of the first things that I noticed is how the small size of the brush head makes it so much easier to maneuver and clean around my back teeth. It used to feel gritty when I rubbed my tongue back there, even after I just finished brushing, and now the area feels smooth. Initially, my wife was using clean mode as well, but she found the vibration of the toothbrush to be extremely ticklish, and she also was experiencing some increased sensitivity of her teeth. After changing over to the sensitive mode, the issues have resolved. She also is a heavy handed brusher, and the violet warning ring on the base has been great for helping her develop better brushing habits.
My biggest gripe about this toothbrush isn’t with the brush at all, but rather with the charging setup. It comes with the stand and cable to charge, but not the actual brick that plugs into the wall. Ok, I can handle that, but the adapter is a USB A. I haven’t owned a USB A product in several years, and had to go online to order an adapter to use this tooth brush. I really wish they had just put a normal plug on the charging base or at least a USB C, so that it would work with power bricks that I already own. I also would suggest bringing back the color coded brush head feature. My wife and I appreciate being able to use the same brush body, but if we put the two brush heads in the carrying case when we travel, there is no way to distinguish which is which, so for now she packs hers separately even though there is room for it in the case.
Overall, this is a top notch toothbrush. It absolutely delivers in making my teeth feel as clean as they do when I leave the dentist’s office. Although I have some minor complaints about the charging setup and a wish for the ability to personalize the heads, it doesn’t take away from the fact that this toothbrush is worthy of a 5 star rating. I am thankful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this toothbrush to test and review, and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with sensitive teeth looking for a great clean.

A consistent clean
on August 26, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so impressed with this toothbrush! My overall impression is that it feels like a professional clean every time I use it, but still manages to be super gentle on my teeth and gums. I love the sleek, modern design—it looks great sitting on my counter and feels high-quality in my hand. After brushing, my teeth looked noticeably brighter and felt so smooth, almost like I had just left the dentist’s office. My whole mouth felt fresh and clean, which is something I don’t always get from a manual toothbrush. The pressure sensor is one of my favorite features—it gives me peace of mind knowing I’m not brushing too hard. I am currently pregnant so finding a toothbrush that accurately cleaned my teeth while also being gentle on my gums felt like a win! I also really appreciate the different speed settings, which let me customize my brushing depending on whether I want a deep clean or something more gentle. Compared to a manual toothbrush, this is a total game-changer. Brushing feels effortless, more effective, and even kind of fun. What I liked most is how gentle yet powerful it is—it makes me actually look forward to brushing! Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to review this product!
