Great for Kindle Too!

I bought this for my kindle as I wanted a way to stand my kindle. The ability to pull the pop socket out is great and creates a way to hold up my kindle both vertical and horizontal.

I’ve been using pop sockets for a few years now and I liked this concept. I’ve been seeing similar products online so when popsocket came out with a different version I was pleased. The silver one is absolutely gorgeous to me!

Nice Product, but not Perfect

It's a nice product. Strong magnet, excellent kick-out stand. But like all Pop Sockets, it's a bit bulky. I wish they made one that was flush with or lower than camera cut-out, so my phone could lie flat on a surface, instead of on the round pop-out.

Initially, this product was pretty wonderful. However, it wouldn’t stay closed after about three weeks and would swing open like a screen door.

Exactly what I need

I was disappointed I couldn’t replace the pop socket stretch slide I’ve had for a few years but the new MagSafe kick out grip is even better! It does everything I liked about the stretch slide—allowing me to position it to stand upright in portrait or landscape orientation and other angles, without any danger of breaking or coming off. Great gadget!

Great new design and surprising versatility

This new design allows me to use my phone with existing magsafe mounts without having to remove the popsocket. Charging speed is definitely impacted but I get enough of a charge in the car so that I can still use the phone for music and navigation without losing power.
The magnet is really strong so I'm glad I don't have to remove constantly like I did for my other magsafe popsockets. I think this will help the popsocket last must longer.
