I was looking for replacement of my Nexus 5. There were quite a few smart phones released recently to choose from. After trying all of them I found that only Samsung S6 has the best combination of specs, features and performance for the money. I'm using it literally all the time due nature of my work and cannot be happier. Technical specification are superb and performance is excellent. Highly recommend this smartphone for everyone who want to use state of art cell phone in everyday life.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone but lacking on the battery

This is an upgrade from my galaxy s4. Overall it's a wonderful phone with great features, but I'm really disappointed in the battery life. Fortunately it does charge quickly, but HAVING to carry an external charger (and keep that charged) is a pain,. I miss the days of just popping in a new battery. It's only been a week, but the battery may be enough for me to switch back to the S4, time will tell. The lack of a micro-sd card was also a disappointment for me. I was extremely excited about the larger hard drives available, but disappointed that I HAD to buy a phone with the larger drive.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, fast & responsive, great camera, fast battery charging
Cons: no micro-sd card, embedded battery, poor battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Device seems to work OK. Battery life has gotten better after making several adjustments to programs running. It did take several days to find the right combinations. But overall the design of the phone is nice and easy to use.
Pros: Durable
Cons: no micro sd capability

I have been waiting for a long time for the Samsung Galaxy S6 to come out and it was well worth the wait. The interface is great and the new features make using it a breeze. Thank you Samsung for making such a great piece of technology!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera, fast charge
Cons: headphone jack on the bottom, my fingers are too small to use the fingerprint id

Not so impressed

I moved up from a Galaxy S4 and so far there are a few features they should have kept.
The S4 calendar had tabs at the edge for day, week, month and year. This was handy and one step.
The grouping feature is pretty poor. The S6 has a box with the app icons displayed, but they are so small that you really can't see them. And if you have more than 4 icons in the group, they are impossible to read.
Battery life is so-so. It's erratic. Sometimes it's better than others but overall, not impressive. At 100% at night, it uses about 25% or more in sleep mode.
The volume and on/off buttons are basically in the same place except the on/off is a little lower. The touch buttons at the bottom have changed in that the "back" button is now a split screen/open app button. The menu option is now a floating button but not always there.
The screen is brighter and clearer in the S6.
Camera is improved but easier to use in the S4 version.
Processor is fast but when downloading updates, it sometimes freezes.
Overall, I'd say it probably wasn't worth the cost to upgrade.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Please Bring Back Air View/Gesture
on April 29, 2015

Should include more features the it's predecessor. Air Gesture and Air View is what set the Galaxy S line apart from ALL phones including ohter Samsung phones. To take away these features makes me wonder if this was a gesture of mercy to its competitors as no other company could provide no- touch technology like such. Not only were the features just outright cool but they were also VERY USEFUL. For example it created safer driving conditions as I could just swipe over the screen without touching it and change songs while not having to take my eyes off the road. The screen is immaculate and the performance is promising. I say this because Android Lollipop has a lot of bugs yet to be worked out. Other than a zippy update needed to make the powerhouse of a phone even more beastly I'd say the Galaxy S6 is the best phone out for 2015, thus far. Samsung, please include the Air Browse/Gesture/View features from the Galaxy S4 and S5 in the next update for the S6. It just wouldn't make since for me to keep having to use my old phone (S5) more than my new device simply because it can do more. Thank you.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, air browse/air gesture /air view were not included, phone is slippery without an aftermarket case., galaxy s5 can do more than the s6, excluded air browse features a huge disappointment, please make s6 cooler than the s5. bring back air

The S6 Galaxy is awesome. The connection and speed is so much faster and your able to have multiple windows open too without the lag or freeze. I love that they moved the speaker to the bottom of the phone from where it was on the back for better sound quality. Also the headphone plug in is also on the bottom instead of the top which helps so much when using an armband to workout. The volume on the phone is even louder the the other S phones. Love this phone, such a upgrade!
