This is a beautiful phone. Very fast and great features. The only thing is the battery, I have to charge it every day. The fast charger helps a lot though,.
I went straight to the Samsung Galaxy S6 from the Samsung Galaxy S4G. The difference in performance was incredible. I'm still getting used to where some things are, but quite pleased overall.
The SGS4G was the predecessor to the Samsung Galaxy S II. It came with 512 MB internal storage and you could expand that with an SD card. I only tended to use a couple of apps, but, being an older phone, it had trouble meeting the storage and performance requirements. I ended up rooting it so that I could get rid of all the carrier's bloat apps and use the SD card to simulate more internal memory. While that helped a lot with the storage issues, it didn't help with the performance issues. I remember getting frustrated when, due to the lack of performance, it took me five minutes to close out of the open app, open the dialer app, and place a call to 9-1-1.
That experience forced me to consider upgrading. Even with all of the carrier's apps on the phone, the SGS6 responds much more quickly than the SGS4G ever did. The one game that I play now comes up reliably and quickly. My navigation app is much more responsive and can get a strong GPS signal faster than the SGS4G would get a shaky one.
This is a good phone for the present. I was pleased with the durability of the SGS4G and I've been pleased with the SGS6 so far. As with any technology, the demands on it tend to increase while the hardware's ability does not. If you're using an older phone, I definitely recommend upgrading to this one.
I'm getting used to only having three buttons at the bottom of the phone instead of four and not having the menu button down there. Being able to use my fingerprint to lock and unlock the phone is nice, but I've had inconsistent results with it. The USB and headphone jacks are at the bottom of the SGS6 (where they were at the top of the SGS4G), so I can't lean it upright when it's plugged in anymore. The SGS6 doesn't allow you to use an SD card to extend its internal memory, so I'm careful with memory usage. (I've never taken many pictures or videos anyway.)
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Slow response or no response. Sometimes it moves sometimes I have to hold a icon down for it to actually register the initial touch. The phone is only 1 week old when this began to happen I have to spend time to get to a store I haven't had a chance yet.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, many touch screen issues it seems to be common
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I upgraded from an S4. Totally committed to Samsung products for reliability, cutting edge technology. LOVE the ease of use, picture clarity, multiple features not available on other platforms.
This phone is very quick with the new processor. There is no lag betwen apps or when using the internet. User interface is smolth with no issues or compatability problems. Screen resolution is amazing with everything being bright and sharp, colors are fantastic. Apps are not bulky and Samsung has cut down on alot of there bloat wear. Feel and use is great size is perfect for texing or surfing the web or watching videos. Great overall phone i would recommend it to everyone.
Pretty much everything you could want in a phone. Can run any high graphic game you could ever want. A lot less bloatware than the s5. Only thing that could be better is an external slot for more space and being able to change batteries on the go being portable chargers hardly can keep up with this beast. Overall awesome though.
Overall it is nice that the larger memory versions of the phone are actually available (unlike the S4 and S5 release). The screen is nice and sharp, and having wireless charging is so much easier!
Unfortunately two of the things that moved me from an iPhone to the Galaxy series way back with my S1 are missing! The fact that I can not remove the battery when the phone locks up or use an additional memory card were selling points originally, Why they have been removed is a mystery!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, built in wireless charging
