Much better performance from the S5. I also have found that my reception has greatly improved.

I love my new phone. I switched from an iPhone and I'm glad I did. It has more features and android apps. I also love that Samsung has greet apps.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

This phone just doesn't run as fast or smoothly as my S5 did, choppy and laggy scrolling is especially bad, apparently due to some RAM problems and memory leaks. What? Memory leaks in a high end top of the line smart phone? Really? It's not waterproof anymore, doesn't have a removable battery, doesn't have an expandable memory slot, and is missing some camera functions that I really liked and used, most notably full screen shutter.
I was forced to upgrade into this phone because of a change of carriers, but it's disappointing that the upgraded device seems to be a step backwards from where they were. It seems like anymore they only care about meeting a deadline for a new seasonal release rather than making sure their product is ready for sale and use. Especially for such a high end and expensive device. I'll be shopping for something different than a Samsung for my next phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, laggy scrolling, missing expandable memory, missing detachable battery, missing camera functions
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As always, another great product. Lacks standard direct call widgets and drive mode that are normally stock, otherwise great product ...
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable
Cons: missing what would normally be some key apps, no drive mode or direct call widget

Another great product in the Note line.

Awesome new phone in the Note line. This thing has better resolution than my TV at home. It runs any app that I throw at it. There is a good battery life even when using apps that seem to suck the life from a normal phone ( like GPS) .
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: expensive

This phone has a lot of positives, but I will get the negatives out of the way first. I don't understand why Samsung has done away with the users ability to access the battery - might as well be an ithing. Also, although 64GB is a plenty of storage for me, I own my own business and have a lot of my business forms and info on sd cards and , unfortunately, I can't access them with this phone.
As to the good. It has a very bright screen with an awesome display. The phone is fast, period. The voice quality is top notch. It is also very durable. I have dropped it numerous times with absolutely no damage at all ( I do have a cover on it with plastic screen protector). I also have had it in my pocket while coaching hockey and it has been hit with a stick several times, again, no damage. Though I would like the ability to change the batter and have a card slot, I would still highly recommend this phone to anyone. The pros definitely out weigh the cons.

I am very pleased with the product. My only disappointment is that the S6 no longer supports MHL (HD video from charge port). I probably would have stayed with my S5 longer if I had known the upgrade did not have that feature. Of course I can Chromecast, but it adds network congestion whereas the MHL was a direct, not buffered link.
