Cannot set motion zones

The app does not allow you to set motion zones. I should have checked the reviews prior to purchasing the camera. I see a lot of customers have the same issue.

These cameras setup easily and

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These cameras setup easily and do well enough for the application I'm using. The problem I have is the Connect App and the device settings.
Couple of examples . . . Siren can be disabled but when sharing and ONLY allowing LIVE VIEW the stupid siren is able to be turned on by the shared user. To get around it, I had to enable the siren and turn the volume all the way down. If something is disabled (not turned on) why in the world would you give access to set it off to a shared user.
Same instance for the pre-recorded messages. Had to turn the volume all the way down to make them not be heard if the shared user clicks on it.
The Light is also similar! Why cannot we get rid of things the shared user can do! I have the light set to not come on with motion (not enabled) but the shared user can just turn it on and leave it on. The light also comes on with motion because the setting to show things in color at night was on. Make ONE place to turn these things off so that an ADMIN can share the devices with clients and not have the clients setting off sirens, making it talk, and turning the light on thus scaring the dogs that we are boarding. FIX THE APP!

Good camera for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have had zero issues. The only thing I don't like about this camera is that it makes a loud noise when it detects motion. Picture quality is good and motion sensor works well. For the price, well worth it.

Connect system is not an improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long time Lorex customer, since around 2007. The new Connect system it not an improvement from the Classic, I’d say it’s a big step backwards. Most Connect cameras only do People or Vehicle detection, in an age where anll the competition is doing AI video detections and some now adding audio event alerting. I would not recommend any of the new Connect devices at this time. I bought this as a test.
