I'm someone who values sound quality above all else I just can't settle with any earphones if it's not perfect, well, perfect in my opinion.
I bought these SHQ3017 about an year ago and even now they are working just fine. I did have a pair before my current one that got damaged thanks to an little accident, but that was mainly my fault.
The audio quality coming from these earphones is superb. The sound is crisp, and very powerful.
It feels great wearing them, and I have yet to experience any disconfort from using them. Mind you that I use them for over 10h a day.
It's microfone has above average quality, and works fine on any (smart)phone that supports 3.5mm earphones with microphones.
I do take care of them as if they were made of glass, but that's mainly me being over zealous.
The only complains I have about it is that sometimes the silicon caps fall off pretty easily, and if you try to store them in your pocket, you might wind up losing it. I'm also not very fond of the bright red color they have but thankfully the parts which are bright red aren't very visible.
Pros: awesome audio quality, very confortable, very durable, media controls
Cons: bright red color, silicone caps tend to fall off easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The main thing for me is that it stays in my ear while I run without hurting. The sounds is great and I like the convenience of putting down around my neck when I'm talking to someone.
The ability to control my iPod is convenient, too.
Had it two months without any problems

Great sound, but poor construction.

Was looking for iphone headsets that I could use during workouts. They went on fairly easily and sounded great. But at the end of two weeks the speaker broke of the left hook. A week later the right speaker broke off the right hook. I am not a designer, but it appears there was not enough glue holding the speakers on.
Pros: great sound
Cons: poor construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The sound coming out of this product is amazing. I love it that I don't have to adjust it while running, it does not fall of my ear and controls are practical. However, there seems to be a problem with the mic. It sometimes becomes mute and there's no troubleshooting instruction in the package. This is the second time I purchased this product and had the same problem.
Pros: great sound and design
Cons: mute mic
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great headset. Cord far too short

Just purchased these and have no quibbles over quality. Love the black/red styling, excellent fit, and performance. I've used a Phillips non-sports version for 3 years and only have to replace them because I dunked them in water! The only reason I've marked these down is the cord is far too short. A little over the length of a standard newspaper page. Fine if you wear your device with an armband. No good if you carry it in pockets, or in the back of your cycle jersey pouch. I will now need to search for and buy a separate extension cord that won't degrade performance and allow me to carry my phone in my pocket: extra cost and inconvenience.
Pros: great fit, excellent quality, love the colour styling
