I like the silicone(?) back panel for the smooth touch and not a slippery as the back of my Rainier Snap Case for my iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I question the gap between the back panel and the black grip border.Isn’t Zagg know for perfection?
This is my first ZAGG phone case and I am greatly impressed. I have smaller hands but went with a 17 pro max. I struggled to find a case that offered sufficient protection and grip, while still sliding easily into and out of my pocket. This case is 100% it. I tried two Otterboxes, a Spigen, and ol faithful UAG. ZAGG is the only brand that pays attention to covering the most real estate of the phone without hindering functionality. I wanted plenty of cushion, but a maintained slim profile. ZAGG delivered. I wanted to get all this while still having some sort of protection on the camera bump between the flash/sensor and the cameras. Only ZAGG has designed such a case. And the gray color I went with is most excellent, as well.
The case is cute and not super bulky. The kickstand is metal and a great feature. My new phone had its first fall today onto tile floor and was perfectly fine. My only complaint is that the seams on the back are a little rough.
Decent case, but wish the sides were a bit more “grippy” and drop protection was a bit more robust. The kickstand is solid and well made though, so a nice case overall.
