Great Design, But Serious Audio and Battery Issues

The laptop looks great and feels very comfortable to use. I’m happy with the build quality, display, keyboard, and overall design. I have not done any heavy workloads yet to properly evaluate the processing power, and so far my usage has mainly been emails, browser work, and regular daily tasks.
However, when the number of tabs and windows increases, the left side under the keyboard becomes noticeably warm. It is not extremely hot, but for a Snapdragon CPU I honestly did not expect this level of heat during such light usage.
There are also two major issues that I still experience even after installing the latest updates, with no noticeable improvement so far.
First, whenever audio is played through the laptop speakers, there is a very loud and irritating noise/static in the background that makes it difficult to properly hear the actual sound. Interestingly, the issue disappears completely when headphones are connected.
Second, for these same everyday tasks, the battery lasts only around 3 to 4 hours, which is dramatically different from the 20+ hour battery life advertised on the website and in marketing materials.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for the feedback, Jafar! We're glad you love the OmniBook's premium design, but we completely understand your frustration with the speaker static, warmth, and short battery life. This is definitely not the all-day, efficient experience we designed the Snapdragon processor to deliver.
We highly recommend opening the pre-installed HP Support Assistant to check for critical audio and BIOS updates. Our HP Support Canada team is fully standing by to help troubleshoot this and make things right for you!
