The lack of a click and only using haptic is kind of nice but it’s hard to pinpoint what works perfectly for you. I accidentally right click a lot and if I turn it up one more click, I failed it right click sometimes.

Originally ordered this on backorder in February and it arrived about a month later, in March. I have always played competitive fps and lived by Finalmouse for their weight and form factor, that is, until I bought this mouse. It took about 2-3 days to adjust to the difference in shape, size, & feel in addition to dialing in the mouse’ software settings and now I can’t go back, nor would I ever want to. I did need some aftermarket skates since the glide felt muddy (even on an artisan mousepad) as well as grip tape for the sides since its a glossier finish than I’m used to (clammy hands will slip) but all in all, totally worth the price and the wait.

I am not a huge supporter of the shape of this mouse, I'm a G502 X type of guy. The side buttons are super mushy and soft, and are not in the position I prefer so they are harder to use. I also got a dud as it would double click on the right click. Not an actual double click, it just felt like a double click. A click you could feel and hear even when the mouse is off. I love the tech and loved how light the mouse was, but just felt like a product that I bought too early. I'll probably wait a while for them to fix QC issues and maybe they will come out with different shapes or sizes of this mouse that use the same tech.

Believe it or not, I'm not a gamer. And I didn't buy it for it's fast click speed from the HITS. I bought it because I expected the HITS actuator-based system to be much easier on my finger joints after extended daily use. I run it with the fastest click speed ( minimal finger effort ) and lowest haptic feedback. IT WORKS. I've been using the X2SS for about a month now and have yet to switch the Left/Right click keys to give my right index finger a rest.

You cannot change the DPI on this mouse without opening GHUB. Sure you can set profiles that half work but you need to do that for every game and then that only sets it to a static DPI setting. You cannot bind a keyboard key to do DPI cycling unless you have a logitech keyboard! I found a hacky solution but I won't buy another logitech mouse again.

Truly game changing with the hall effect switches. I've never had a mouse feel so comfortable. It has honestly improved my aim. Because of the shell and sheer control of the mouse. The HITS system is also an amazing concept I'm still getting used too. Thanks Logitech!
