I have several Bissell machines and this is the first one that I can't give a full five stars. The quality is great, I'm sure, but for my situation it is not great like other vacuums of theirs. The dog hairs on the area rug just tend to roll up into narrow piles, and it is top heavy, with the battery pack being at the to of the handle as opposed to the bottom of the others I have. So this is not as easy to hold up for cleaning.

Bissell has exceeded my expectations with this one. I turn off the room lights and the headlights show me all the dog hair my V 11 missed. I don't have any special equipment to measure with but I believe it pulls itself to the floor as hard as my V 11 . It doesn't come with near as many attachments but I use my rewind mostly for the wand because I can point the headlights toward the mess and remove the wand with the headlights still shining on the mess. I don't know about the durability yet but it's quiet powerful and gathers a lot of shed pet hair.

Works as advertized. Battery is removable. I purchased a backup battery which I use if first battery runs out before I am done vacuuming.

Occasionally clogged

I love everything about this vacuum except that it occasionally gets clogged. I think the intake hole needs to be bigger, because it gets clogged there when I suck up larger pieces like paper, pieces of carpet that my dogs dig up, etc.

This is my first stick vacuum and I will never go back. This vacuum is perfect. My partner and I have 2 cats in an all hardwood floor, two story house. We got lots of hair and dust and I was worried the battery wouldn't last much more than a quick clean but I was wrong. I can do an entire floor on a charge, its great for litter, kitchen messes, and when my boyfriend tracks the garden inside. Highly recommend. Plus the light is magic.
