I was leary of a cordless vacuum and did a ton of research before deciding on the PowerClean Fur Guard.It picks up cat littler like a champ without it flying out and back into the floor. I also love how it lights up the floor showing me smaller items .

Light weight, compact, powerful, great attachments for all practical uses. Cordless and the battery charges quickly. The collection container could be bigger but then it would take away from how compact it is.

The PowerClean FurGuard is perfect for a quick clean on my hardwood floors. I love the headlights. The fur finder attachment is perfect for cleaning off sofas or where your pet may rest.

This is my first cordless vacuum, so I wanted one with a removable battery for easy switching of needed. I am glad to have found one for less than the other brand with same feature. I have a cat and 2 dogs, one being a Siberian Husky. So the daily fluff is definitely a lot. So far this has easily been able to handle picking up all the fur. I am able to use the vac on eco mode for a majority of the time. While the main head cannot handle my small lightweight area rugs/runners due to the high suction power just on the eco mode, the Furfinder hand tool is very convenient to use for me to vacuum them no problem. So far I highly recommend this vacuum.

This vacuum did a poor job of vacuuming up pet hair. I vacuumed an area rug at least 3 times and from different angles. While it did a good job picking up dirt, a lot of the pet hair was still there. I gave it a 2-star rating because the handheld vacuuming was decent. Returned it and ordered a Pet Hair Eraser Rewind.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
