[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how lightweight this vacuum is. It’s very easy to push and to hold. My favorite part of the vacuum is how well the lights illuminate the ground before you vacuum over it. I have never in my life seen dog and cat hair sitting on my floors before because they camouflage so well. I was in utter shock at how much hair was there on the floor that I now could see! It’s been a major change in how I effectively and efficiently vacuum now. I also like how easy it is to take the canister out and dump. As someone in about 850ish sq ft with 1 dog and 2 cats being able to vacuum up all the pet hair and cat litter tracking is a daily chore. I actually look forward to vacuuming now. I will say if I try to keep it on the strongest setting then I won’t be able to completely vacuum my entire apartment so I will split it up in sections, recharge and do the rest later. I wish I was able to get a little longer charge that allowed me to vacuum everything before the battery died.

Powerful Performance for a Short Time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a mom with a husky, a Maine Coon, and a snack-hording 14-year-old boy. Which basically means I’m vacuuming a small petting zoo daily. The PowerClean FurGuard 280 W has been a lifesaver for quick clean-ups. The suction is strong and actually lifts fur and crumbs out of carpets, area rugs, and furniture, so I don’t have to keep going over the same spots again and again.
The headlights are surprisingly handy (turns out every corner, and underneath big items hides a lot more crap than I thought), and the self-standing design is great because, let’s be honest, I’m constantly dropping everything to break up an argument or grab a snack for someone.
My favorite part is that the FurGuard feels dependable—I know it’s going to pick up what I need it to without turning vacuuming into a workout. A downside is that the battery life is subpar. The suction decreases fairly significantly after 20 mins of continuous use. Also, the bin does fill up quickly when you’re dealing with two furry shedding machines. But that’s par for the course in this house.
It’s not perfect, but it's fantastic for short, intense cleaning sessions.

Stick vac every house needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had every possible type of vacuum you could think of except for a cordless stick vac. Enter the PowerClean FurGuard 280 W, and what a powerhouse I didn’t know I was missing!
For a rechargeable vacuum it has a lot of powerful suction. The vacuum itself is super lightweight and easy to grab to do quick clean ups. At the same time, the battery lasts enough to get the entire downstairs freshened up. It’s a breeze to bring upstairs without dragging a full sized vacuum up and down the stairs. I wasn’t sure how well it would work on carpet but it tackles it just as well as the hardwood. Some of the throw carpets will cause it to stop spinning if I try to go too fast because they move, but I’ve learned how to tackle those. There are 3 settings and I find the middle to be great. I will bump to the 3rd setting for super high traffic areas and where I know a lot of hair is hiding. The light on the front is so helpful to see that you’re actually picking up (and highlights how much dust and fur is lining your floor!). We just repainted our laundry room so I haven’t set it up to be on the wall yet, but it stands just fine on its own and the rechargeable cord is easy to plug right in. I can’t believe I’ve been sleeping on a stick vac this long but will be recommending this to anyone who needs a new vacuum!

Out of the box it would shut down just 1-2 seconds after I turned it on, even after fully charging the battery (15+ hours). Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tried more than just a few stick vacuums, by far this one is the best! I appreciate the magnitude of the light, I am able to see all the litter my 3 cats track on the hardwood floor. Using the lowest level of power, all the litter is being seen and cleaned up. It is light and it stands alone very sturdily, meaning no tilting or swaying. Emptying the trash cup is very easy and installing to position is very easy too. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend if you have pets and yes you see the fur too!

I live in a one room schoolhouse with old wood floors. I have lots of dust bunnies because of my cats and it is so much easier to suck them up. This makes sweeping a breeze compared to a broom.
