[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does pick up some dirt on the floors. But it doesn't clean up all the cat hair I have on the floors. I still had cat hair left on the floor after vacuuming. Also my hair that fell to the floor got caught up in the roller of the vacuum. I had quite a time to untangle the hair from the roller. I had to keep emptying the vacuum of the soil it picked up which is frustrating as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such an inferior product. Shame on you Bissell! After 2nd use the beater bar stopped working. There is basically NO SUCTION, doesn't even pick up cat litter! I gave up & had to use a broom & dust pail to clean my rugs! (Not easy when you are an elderly person.) Now, on a fixed income, I have to spend MORE money on something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It then gets easily misplaced since it's not able to be attached to the vacuum. Otherwise, this is a very light and durable product to use for everyday cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved my Bissell products, until now. I had the featherweight model# 2033 and decided to "upgrade" to the Bowerbrush model. I HATE it. It doesn't seem to have as much suction as the cheaper 2033 and the power brush constantly clogs up and just throws the cat litter and anything bigger out the back or just leaves it behind. If I could send it back to where I bought it I would. Wasted my money.
