Compact but strong!

I actually have an older Bissell vacuum that I've had for a few years - it's small and perfect for when I lived in student apartments. This new featherweight is like the updated version and is much stronger. I love the hand attachment option as well. I use it to clean the living room and kitchen. It picks eeeeverything up. Highly recommend! So happy with this product!

I would research better vacuums

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have LVP floors and one cat. There are 2 people in a 1300 sq ft home. I like the convenience of this vacuum, but the suction power is really just a dust-buster-type on a stick, so minimal. Also, for the hours it takes to charge the vacuum, it would be lovely if the charge held for the same time! Instead, I am lucky to get perhaps 25-40 mins total out of the 'battery' for a 3-4 hour charge. The brush is nice yet the actual suction receptacle hole is very small and in the center of the brush, so dirt on the sides may not get picked up, just whipped elsewhere onto the flooring. I particularly noticed this when we got a new, washable, flat nap area rug. I vacuumed in my bare feet and could still feel little bits of 'stuff' after vacuuming, so I did it several directions and for a lot longer than I would expect. This was a very inexpensive piece so I suppose it's fine -just don't expect real vacuum power. One gets what they pay for!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NOISY but works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the vacuum for my floors, couches & pillows, and love how long the cord is and how light it feels when handling. Unfortunately the slim design does nothing for it's sound volume. It is nosier then the larger vacuums we own and is very disruptive to the other household members when in use. I do like how it got underneath most of my furniture and glided easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great lightweight vac for quick cleanup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never really used a lightweight vacuum before but was interested to see how this one would work on multiple floor surfaces (we have a combination of rugs, hardwoods, tile, and one room with carpeting). Pros: Very lightweight! Super easy to carry around the house and doesn't take up a lot of space when storing. Detachable on-board hand vac... very convenient. Relatively quiet (also a bit of a con because my cat will not move out of the way when I am vacuuming!) Decent suction and beater brush. Cons: The cord is about a foot too short though I assume that if it were longer, it might make the vacuum more likely to tip over with the extra weight. There is an attachment for the hand vac but nowhere on-board to store it. The filter is a little fiddly... it is easy to see where it fits but it doesn't really snap into place. Replacing the hand vac can be a bit fiddly as well. Because of where the cord comes out of the vacuum, it gets in the way when wrapping the cord up. Overall: Does a reasonably good job of picking up scattered cat litter, fur, and other debris on most surfaces. I used it for daily quick cleanup however I still use my full sized vacuum at least once a week... especially in the carpeted room where the Bissell Featherweight seem to struggle a bit.
