No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Choose this from my work as my anniversary gift. I have a robotic vacuum, this is so handy to plug in and use 5 mins. Wish the anniversary gift page would of had one of the cordless ones, but this is wonderful. Combo as a stick and handheld.

I live in a 1 bedroom with my 10 year old and 2 cats and this is the best thing to fight the dust and cat hair out here in Arizona. It's even the perfect size for my son to use. And when the pieces come apart and turn it into a hand held vacuum he thinks cleaning is fun so it helps me. I've had similar shark styles vacuums that are cordless but don't hold a charge and aren't as powerful. It's easy to ues, easy to store and is tween friendly. 5/5 would recommend!
