Solid upgrade over previous versions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoy this product. Comes with a nice carrying case that holds the five attachments. The machine is virtually silent (obviously still makes noise), but in comparison to a previous model, pretty sure if was the first version, the sound level is night and day. I really like the pyramid/pointy part for pinpoint massage. The heated attachment is probably my favorite. Gets nice and warm and feels good with warming up. Machine works well for warm up/primer activities. Has an app that you can connect to, which has great warm up and cool down routines, and if you connect to the garmin app it can recommend programs. Overall I’d recommend it, easy to travel with, feels good, easy recovery modality, but if you need deep soft tissue work, I’d go massage over the machine.

Restored My Faith in Therapy Guns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took the new Hypervolt 3 on a buddy ski trip to Taos for the weekend. All four of us were loving the heated attachment to warm up our muscles for the day, and to provide relief after hitting the hill. I had a competitive Therapeutic Gun that was loud and rarely used. This new unit is whisper-quiet, making it easy to use while watching TV. The attachments are fantastic. I specifically use the u-shaped one for my IT bands. My muscles are happy.

Well-designed recovery aid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a Hypervolt Go and the quality-of-life upgrades going to this model are more than just minor updates. The power adjustment is simpler and more intuitive, with clear visual indicators. The included heads allow for treatment of different muscle groups and the heated head was way more noticeable than I thought it would be. I thought with the percussion that I wouldn't have the head in contact with the skin enough for good heat transfer but it was actually quite nice! Only minor complaint would be now you have to charge the device and the heated head separately and with two different styles of charger. Otherwise, this continues to set the standard for handheld massage guns.

Excellent quick recovery device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing piece that is much more quiet than others that I've tried. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I've reviewed many products before objectively, and this review wasn't screened before posting. It obviously still can be heard in a quiet setting, but in a gym, or in a place with background noise, it's easily drowned out. The heated head attachment is SO nice and deserves to have different styles of heated heads instead of just the flat head. That would be the next best thing.
I've used this mainly for pre and post-workouts, trying to see the difference in both performance and recovery. For pre-workouts, I find that my warmups require less time, my splits are faster and my lifts just..feel stronger, subjectively. For post workouts, comparing when I do it to one side of my body and not the other, there's definitely a difference in soreness the next day. I am less sore where I've applied using the gun.
I would definitely recommend this to any one who trains regularly and has issues with recovery time affecting motivation to go to the gym/workout the following days. If you don't have a powerful one with easy setting control, I'd recommend getting one. However, if you already have one, test this out to see if there's a huge difference in the power/percussion ratings before upgrading.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hypervolt 3 is a big upgrade to the original hypervolt. I am able to use the hypervolt 3 in my office at work because it’s so quiet. I lean towards using the heated attachment especially before workouts to just warm up the muscles I am hitting that day for the gym. I sit at a desk all day for working so being able to use this during my lunch break is very beneficial for me. The carrying case that came with the hypervolt 3 makes it easy to transport and this thing stays in my gym bag. Before receiving the hypervolt 3 I had the original hypervolt and it is definitely worth the upgrade. The device has a nice smooth material and the grip position and slimness makes it easier to hold and handle. I like the rotating function to change the speed and the battery life can last me 2/3 weeks. I use the hypervolt 3 pre and post workouts and even on off days just to break down fascia and to have better mobility during the day. I recommend this to athletes or just anyone into fitness that needs any muscle tightness released. I wish hypervolt included an attachment that could attach the hypervolt 3 to a squat rack or door frame to make it easier to use the device on your back, but other than that this is an amazing product.

Best Hyperice product to date!

I’m a veteran Hypervolt user and have owned both the original model and the Hypervolt 2. After extensive use across all three generations, the improvements in the Hypervolt 3 are immediately noticeable.
First, the feel. It’s noticeably smoother and lighter, which makes longer sessions easier on your hands and wrists. The weight difference might not look dramatic on paper, but in real use it’s clear. The redesigned handle improves grip and balance, so it feels more natural and controlled during use.
The massage heads are a major upgrade. The new rounder, more ergonomic attachments contour better to the body, They glide better and distribute pressure more evenly, making treatments feel less aggressive while still delivering deep, effective muscle work.
Moving from 3 speeds on the Hypervolt 2 to 5 speeds on the Hypervolt 3 gives significantly more control.
Overall, compared to both version 1 and 2, the Hypervolt 3 delivers better performance, more features, improved ergonomics, and stronger overall value. It doesn’t just feel like an update — it feels like a complete refinement of the product line.

Powerful but soothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hypervolt 3 was sent to me to test in exchange for an honest review. I have tried several vibration guns, but this one is so intuitive and has the best range for targeting my muscles that are in need of attention. I am usually hard core dying at 48 hours after a workout when my DOMS sets in. With this device and the variety of attachments which includes a heated head, I can cut my soreness down to nearly nothing. The battery life is impressive, and the speed settings are ideal gor customizing to each muscle group. This is by far the greatest instrument for recovery and to promote blood flow. I can put away my soft tissue instruments and my foam roller to keep this as my #1 pick!
I used this for lifting, running, and hiking recovery, and this helped me tons!
I am not getting any younger, so the heated head melted away my tension while driving in the benefit of blood flow!

I used it before workouts to activate and prime my muscles, and it made a noticeable difference in how ready and mobile I felt heading into runs and leg days. Post-workout, it was incredible for recovery — the deep percussive therapy really got into my muscles and helped reduce soreness and tightness. I especially love the heated head attachment, which adds another level of relief and helps loosen stubborn areas even faster. It comes with five different attachments, making it easy to target everything from large muscle groups like quads and glutes to smaller, more specific areas. The intensity feels powerful yet controlled, so I could customize it depending on what my body needed that day. Overall, it’s been an amazing tool for both performance and recovery, and I genuinely felt the difference using it daily. This is my new favorite massage gun that I will continue to incorporate everyday into my workout routines. I’ve been trying to figure out how I can bring it with me during my long distance treks through Europe as it’s essential. I’m incredibly impressed and plan to look into Hyperice other products. This is a great product for anyone. I hike, climb, cross-country bikepack, snowboard, surf, and play tennis. This will help me for all of these activities.
