A little underwhelming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Naturally our expectations were high as we patiently waited 6 weeks for our freezer to be delivered. It’s been 3 weeks and well.... it’s been ok I guess. The freezer is rarely opened as it sits in the basement, yet there is always frost on the items. It seems to be barely keeping items frozen. Recently placed a case of individual water bottles in the freezer for my students in my 1st and 2nd hour. I initially feared leaving the case of water for over 12 hours might freeze the water bottles solid. However, as suspected the water was partially frozen and ironically ended up being perfect for what I needed that day. I wonder if all the new freezers operate at just below freezing temperatures?

The temperature is factory preset to “Recommended” to provide satisfactory food storage temperatures. If a colder temperature is desired, turn the temperature control knob toward COLDEST and allow several hours for temperatures to stabilize between adjustments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a little over a month since I bought my Frigidaire 16 c.ft. upright freezer. I'm loving how its design allows me to organize items. Ironically, I lost power for a full day to the entire house when someone hit a power line but everything in the freezer stayed wonderfully frozen. Big relief! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Have only had the Frigidaire operating for about a month so too early to determine long-term reliability, but it is quietly humming along keeping all our food frozen, so we are happy with our purchase. It is basic but has all the features we wanted and is the right size for our space.

Love my Frigidaire Freezer

(Compared to side by side fridge freezer.) Held up and kept food safe during power outages during the February winter storm. Looks very nice. LOVE IT!!!

We found this freezer freezes items quickly and does not dry out our food. Our model has ample space and is just what we needed. Another home run for Frigidaire.
