Replacing an 40 year old Kenmore upright freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were pleased to find a replacement for our 40 year old manual frost freezer it is frost free and is a prefect size and easily fit into our basement it has plenty of room and a has a nice power light at the bottom to let us know its working.

Perfect Garage Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Narrow and tall, it fit perfect in our garage. Freeze temperature suggest is just right. And, the green light at the bottom to let you know the freezer is working properly is genius. We replaced another well-known brand with this Fridgidare. Should have done it sooner. Highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old 10.6 cu. ft. chest freezer's gasket started coming off and the part was unavailable, we started researching our options. We decided to look for a replacement upright freezer because it would be easier to access (we are Sr. Citizens) and it would take up less space in our garage. We found a 16 cu. ft. Frigidaire available with everything we were looking for but the model was sold out so there wasn’t one on display. That was okay. The specs showed it had a light to show the power was on, shelves were adjustable, there was a temperature alarm in case the temperature got too warm, it was on rollers for easy mobility, and the reviews were great. When our freezer was delivered, we were ecstatic. It was better than we imagined. We only needed to plug it in and leave it on for a short time for the temperature to get to freezing, then we moved everything into it from our old freezer. It holds A LOT more than our old chest freezer and is so much easier to access stored items. The temperature is easy to maintain and the door seals well. It is extremely easy to pack & organize (I use bins) and the shelves in the door are perfect for so many different things. The power light is very evident on the outside and reassuring. The inside is very well lit. The entire unit is SOLID. There is nothing I can say bad about this freezer, and I sure would if I needed to. I highly recommend this product and am VERY thankful for the one we now own!

15.5 Stainless Frigidaire Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a larger Frigidaire freezer last year in this same line-up. It only came in white but has the same features as this one. I liked that one well enough I purchased this one when another brand older freezer quit after 47 years. These Frigidaire are very quiet and have very bright interior lighting with great shelving. I can actually stock more inside them than I could using the old freezers I replaced that were of the same sizes. Frost free also means I no longer need to empty and defrost periodically. Freezer was delivered in perfect condition with no dents or scratches. As for performance, I easily noticed Both my new Frigidaire's freeze everything faster and do hold a uniform temperature. I just used the "recommended" freezer setting, and a temp gauge I have showed a stabilized -4 degrees. The green light glowing below the door lets me know everything is fine without needing to open the freezer door. The color of this stainless model is also the best for the enclosed garage I have it in.

Perfect freezer

My wife twin had just purchased a 13 cubic foot. We had to go out and purchase one for ourselves. It was a great decision!
