Convenient and good size for our needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the freezer to repalce a chest type because we kept finding items hidden at the bottom of the chest which were gettting long in the tooth. The upright design makes it easy to see what you have without unloading the entire freezer. To date it has performed well and even though it is in a garage in southern Arizona, it doesn't run much.

Nice features, not so great economy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit has great lighting, nice status indicator, wire shelves for good cool air distribution. It's not so great on power consumption, but stand-up freezers are not known for that.I

Spacious Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spacious interior, and since, unlike our previous freezer, this one is frost-free, that means that it will continue to have a tremendous amount of room. The green light that indicates that the freezer is receiving power is handy, but one change that I would like to see is that the green light would be OFF if the freezer door is open. That's an issue because the door is not self-closing, and you have to lightly push against the door in order to be SURE that the door is closed. But, overall, we are very pleased with the freezer. It replaces a 22-year-old Frigidaire upright freezer that was still working, but since we live in the desert with Summer temperatures over 100 degrees, we decided to get a new freezer before the old one failed.

Perfect Freezer for Uncertain Times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had this a short time, so I cannot speak to its longevity, but we are extremely impressed so far. It's very roomy and deep enough to store larger items. I love the adjustable shelves, the large basket bin on the bottom for oddly shaped items, and the larger door shelves. We're using it mostly for those items we buy in bulk, and haven't even come close to filling it to capacity. We are so pleased!

Plenty of room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going from 8 cu ft chest freezer to a 16 cu ft upright is great. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Don't have to move so much food around to see what you have. Especially like the green light and alarm. Holds temperature well. I put thermometer in and it holds at 3 degrees above 0 at recommended setting.
