Sounds strange but I like the glowing green light. It tells me the freezer is working and its calming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a Frigidaire Upright Freezer that I bought in 1993 (27 years ago!) and it went out while I was cleaning it so it stood to reason that I would buy another Frigidaire! Love it! This one has a light and so many shelves, it almost looks empty! Hope it lasts as long as my previous one!

The long bottom drawer is great for little things that may be used daily. Like cheese, lunchmeat, butter. The outside ice/water maker does not disappoint. Especially like the light when using it. The freezer hold a lot of food. And with a long drawer its great for small packages like vegetables
